I am back with an update, this time a bit early ;)

Part 5

After that night Raavi made new and lame excuses to sleep in Shiva’s arms, slowly Shiva too got used to her being in his arms and clinged to him from top to bottom.

Their punishment was finally finished.

One day Shiva came to the family and said ‘Gaumbi mujhe Somnath jana hoga, Kaka ka phone aya tha vaha thoda kaam zada badh gaya hai.’

‘Lekin puja toh abhi khatam nahi hui Shiva’ Gautam spoke.

‘Ha toh thik hai na Shiva tu chala ja.’ Suman spoke.

‘Lekin maa yeh akela vaha kaise rahega?’ Gautam spoke.

‘Akela kyu? Raavi ko bhi bhej de na, isi bahane ghar bhi or zada din khali nahi rahega.’ Suman spoke.

‘Raavi akele sab kaise sambhalegi maa?’ Dhara intervened.

Raavi who wanted to be with Shiva spoke excitedly ‘Don’t worry Dhara di main sab sambhal lungi.’

Suman spoke ‘Thik hai phir. Tum dono nikal jao Somnath ke liye hum kuch din mein milte hai tumhe vaha’

Shiva too agreed as he too had grown fond of his wife and he loved the idea of being with her alone and spending some quality time.

Shiva and Raavi packed the bag and left for Somnath. They finally reached PAndya Niwas after hours of driving.

Both felt so home entering the house inhaling the usual aroma of their place. ‘Chal tu aram kar main dukan pe hoke ata hu’ Shiva spoke.

‘Oye bandar. Abhi toh aaye hai. Thoda hath muh dhole kuch khale phir chala jaio.’ Raavi spoke.

He nodded and sat near the well, Raavi brought the water and helped him wash his hands and face.

‘Chal mujhe bhukh nahi hai main hoke ata hu’ He spoke.

‘Ha store pe jo jana hai kaha se bhuk lagegi tujhe’ Raavi teased him knowing his love for the store. He smiled and went from the house.

Raavi locked the house and started cleaning the house, it took her 2-3 hours to clean the house. She then took a bath, changed into a new set of clothes and went out to buy groceries.

Finally she cooked food and went to the shop.

‘Jai Somnath kaka’ she spoke cheerfully entering the store.

Shiva who was working in the store came hearing her chirpy voice ‘Tu yaha?’

Raavi looked at him with happiness in her eyes and he too held the same happiness. From the last few days they were so always together that this was the first time they were away for 4-5 hours. Kaka watched them and smiled ‘Raavi bitia khana lai hai?’ he asked her.

‘Hanji kaka’ she spoke coming out of the trance.

‘Ek kaam karo tum dono piche store mein jake khao main hu yaha’ Kaka spoke.

Raavi blushed ‘Nahi kaka main toh bas dene ayi thi. Yeh lo yeh apka’ she handed him his tiffin.

Before Kaka could speak Shiva spoke ‘Aja sath mein kha lete hai ghar pe bhi tu akeli hi hai’

Raavi loved this side of Shiva, this caring and thoughtful side of him. Kaka signalled her to go and she obliged.

‘Tujhe kaha toh tha bhuk nahi hai phir kyu kari itni mehnat’ Shiva spoke, settling down and opening the tiffin in a haste.

‘Teri harkate dekh kar toh nahi lag raha ki tjhe bhuk nahi hai’ Raavi teased him

Shiva gave her a sheepish smile. ‘Janti hu main apne bandar ko, khane ke bina nahi reh sakta.’

Shiva was so happy hearing ‘Apna’ from her mouth ‘PAta hai Raavi jab tu itne apnepan ke sath mujhe bolti hai na bahut acha lagta hai’

Raavi pulled his cheeks ‘Apna hai toh bolungi na apnepan se’ she winked.

‘Acha chal khale tu bhi’ Shiva spoke, he was now used to such sweet things coming from her.

‘Shiva main sirf tere liye lai thi tu kha main ghar jake khaungi’ she spoke.

He made a morsel and fed her ‘Tu bahut bigad gayi hai Raavi sab kuch tujhe ab mere hath se chahiye’

‘Ha vo toh teri baat thik hai lekin sach mein Shiva aaj main sirf tere liye lai hu’ she spoke while chewing on her food.

‘Manta hu khana mujhe bahut pasand hai par ab tere sath khana pasand hai. Bhale ek roti kam khau par tere sath khau toh thik rehta hai’ he said honestly, feeding one one bite to each.

‘Acha chal phir main fridge se chanch(buttermilk) ka packet lati hu kam se kam tera pet toh bharega. He nodded happily.

She came in the front and spoke ‘kaka Chanch le rahi hu’

‘Ha beta teri hi dukan hai jo bhi le’ he spoke happily. Raavi smiled.

‘Vaise Raavi beta tum dono ko itna khush dekh kar dil khush ho gaya. Hamesha aise hi khush raho’ Kaka blessed.

‘Thankyou kaka’ she gave her brightest smile.

Raavi returned back and sat with him, she tore the packet with her teeth. 'Oho glass lana bhul gayi, abhi lati hu.’

‘Rehne de aise hi pi lenge’ he spoke, sucking some from the packet.

‘Aise hi?’ she asked. Drinking from the same side as him was so intimate to her.

‘Tujhe problem hai toh dusra packet khol le’ he spoke genuinely.

She snatched the packet from his hand and sucked from the same side. Shiva saw her and he felt shivers run down his spine as he saw her lips sucking the packet then her throat gulping it. Lately he has started ogling her and her antics and he must admit that they definitely create havoc in his body and mind.

‘LE pi tu bhi’ she gave him the packet bringing him back to reality. ‘Vaise yeh chanch zada tasty hai, abhi tak ki best’ she gave a blushing smile.

Shiva too agreed ‘Sahi keh rahi hai’

‘Shiva ho gaya toh aio beta ek baar’ they heard Kaka.

‘Aya kaka’ Shiva spoke and was about to get up but she held him ‘Yeh last bite hai Shiva kha ke ja or yeh chanch bhi pi’ She said authoritatively. He obliged and ate from her hand and left.

Raavi smiled at his retreating back and wrapped the tiffin box.

‘Chal main chalti hu ab’ She spoke to Shiva.

Shiva too smiled at her and nodded.

‘Acha kaka’ she bid him goodbye.

Acha beta, dhyan se jana’ kaka told and she nodded.

Raavi made her evening tea and connected with everyone else in the haveli on video call, after doing that she also talked to Shiva for a few minutes. More than husband and wife they were enjoying themselves like people who are about to enter a new relationship, everything felt so new to them. Blushing on small small things yet teases each other, irritates each other. They have eventually stopped fighting in front of others. They saved that only for their room, the four walls not only witnessed fights but also some stolen beautiful moments.

Raavi was waiting for Shiva and finally he came inside and locked the main door.

‘Aa gaya Shiva tu. ja jaldi se naha le or phir khana khale’ Raavi ordered him.

‘Main nahi naha raha’ Shiva chided.

‘Dekh Shiva hygiene rakhna kuch galat nahi hai toh please nahale.’ she requested him.

‘Thik hai ja raha hu’ he spoke like a kid huffing.

‘Good boy’ Raavi spoke and went to the kitchen to make chapatis and heat the vegetables.

Shiva came out after 10 minutes and spoke ‘Vaise ek baat manni padegi nahake better toh lagta hai lekin na sabse ganda kam lagta hai mujhe’

Raavi laughed at his antics ‘Pagal ladka’ she nodded her head at him and plated the dinner.

‘Kya banaya hai?’ he asked sitting.

‘Teri favourite aloo gobhi’ Raavi beamed. ‘Or ab pet bhar ke kha khana’ she spoke.

‘Okay mumma’ Shiva teased her. Raavi narrowed her eyes on him and both laughed.

She too sat with him and ate properly, they both discussed what they did the whole day and finally retired to their room.

Shiva lay down on the bed and Raavi very rightfully came and settled in his arms. They conversed for some more time before dozing off.

Raavi was the first one to wake up, her eyes fell on her ever so cute husband. She couldn’t control herself from caressing the traces from his forehead and admired his beautiful features before placing a loving peck on his forehead.

Shiva smiled in his sleep when he felt her fingers on his face and then a small peck on his forehead. Raavi too smiled seeing him smile. She got up and went to the bathroom.

‘Kya bana hai khane mein?’ Shiva asked entering the kitchen.

‘Poha banaya hai. Lunch mein kya khayega?’ She asked.

‘Are tu kyu itni mehnat karti hai abhi hi pack karde. Specially ane ki zarurat nahi hai’ Shiva said while sitting down.

‘Aise kaise zarurat nahi hai? Mere hote hue tu thanda khana khaega. No way,’ she said while sitting with him for breakfast.

Shiva loved how much she cared for him. They both had their breakfast chit chatting and once in a while feeding each other.

‘Chal main chalta hu ab. Or ayegi toh khana dono ka laio’ Shiva told her.

‘Ha thik hai. Bye’ She waved her hand to him.

Raavi entered the store to find Shiva alone working. ‘Aaj kaka kaha hai?’

‘Vo unhe kuch kaam tha toh gaye hai bahar’ Shiva spoke. He didn’t look well to Raavi.

‘Tabiyat thik hai teri Shiva?’ Raavi asked.

‘Ha thik hai. Kyu?’ He lied to her.

‘Sachi bol Shiva. Tu thik nahi lag raha’ Raavi asked worriedly.

‘Kuch nahi yaar vo thoda sir dard hai thik ho jayega. Aja khana khale.’ Shiva told her.

‘Shutter band kar’ Raavi ordered.

‘Kyu?’ Shiva asked, confused.

‘Jitna bola utna kar’ she spoke. He obliged.

‘Ab bol’ Shiva asked.

‘Baith idhar. Khana kha apna.’ Raavi told him.

‘Vo toh shutter khule mein bhi kha sakte the na. Ruk main kholta hu’ Shiva spoke.

‘Idhar aa chup chap. Khana kha apna’ Raavi spoke with anger in her eyes.

HE sat down quietly and they had their lunch.

Once done Raavi sat cross legged taking support of the wall and ordered him to lie down.

‘Are main thik hu Raavi. Thoda kaam tha is vajah se’ Shiva tried to reason but she scolded him ‘Kya thik hu? Apna dhyan bilkul nahi rakhta. Jab dekho apni chalata hai. Insan hai Shiva tu bahubali nahi jo sab kuch akele kar lega. Let chup chaap yaha’

Shiva was scared of his wife but he loved the way she scolded him for his betterment. His bhabhi always taught her ‘Jo tumhare liye tumse lade na Shiva use kabhi mat jane do. Bahut kam log hote hai aise.’ he smiled as he got that person in his life.

‘Joke sunaya maine?’ she asked.

His smile vanished and quietly laid in her lap. Raavi took some oil in her hand and applied it on his scalp and started massaging his head.

‘Raavi kya kar rahi hai? Abhi mujhe dukan pe rukna hai tel kyu laga rahi hai.’ Shiva chided like a kid.

‘Tujhe kisi ne dekhne ana hai? ‘ she asked sarcastically. Shiva kept quiet as he knew it was dangerous to say anything now. ‘Vaise tujhe kaise pata ki meri tabiyat thik nahi hai?’

Raavi replied ‘Bas pata lag gaya.’

Raavi very lovingly massaged his head and he slept in her lap for sometime. Shiva took a nap of almost half an hour and the whole time Raavi kept caressing his head.

Shiva woke up being fresh and the headache was gone. ‘Ab kaisa lag raha hai?’ Raavi asked when she saw his eyes open.

‘Thank you. Gayab ho gaya sir dard. Tere hathon mein toh kamal hai’ he said, getting up.

‘Vo toh hai. Chal ab khol de dukan main bhi ghar jau.’ Raavi spoke, getting up.

Instead of opening the shutter Shiva placed a kiss on her forehead ‘Thankyou Raavi mera itna dhyan rakhne ke liye.’.

Raavi blushed, she replied ‘Acha lagta hai Shiva mujhe tera dhyan rakhna or tera dhyan nahi rakhungi toh kiska rakhungi’

Shiva smiled and caressed her head letting his hand linger on her head for a few seconds. Raavi closed her eyes in contentment; a lone tear escaped her eyes.

‘Kya hua Raavi?’ Shiva asked worriedly.

‘Kuch nahi. Phir bataungi’ she said and just hugged him tightly.

‘Pkka?’ he asked, hugging her back. She nodded still in his embrace. She broke the hug and he opened the shutter.

‘Chal main chalti hu.’ She was about to go when Shiva noticed her kurti which had stains of oil ‘Dekh tere kapde gande ho gaye. Bol raha tha mat laga tel ab ho gaye na kapde gande. Ab ghurenge log’ Shiva spoke in annoyance.

‘Koi ni ghurne de. Yahi kahenge ki Shiva ne apni biwi ko apne rang mein rang lia’ she winked teasing him.

‘Acha ji, batau tujhe main’ he said, trying to get hold of her.

She ran out, sticking her tongue out at him and saying ‘Dhyan rakhio apna’, he too replied ‘Tu bhi’ and thanked his stars for sending her in his life.
