Hey all! I started watching BB recently and really enjoyed the older episodes. But, with the leap, a few things come to mind, especially after the recent episode where Bondita finds out about Binoy and what made ARC change so much.
From her POV, especially the scene where ARC is driving her to the station, I think was the most emotional scene to watch where she feels the pain and agony of her dearest friend and companion. The young man who supported her in fulfilling all of her dreams, all of her daring tasks against the entire society was so defeated and sad that he had to change. He had no choice. ARC had to do so in order to protect his family.
Her Sakha Babu, who fought for her littlest dreams, helped her wear shoes, go to school, taught her the difference between right and wrong and to a large extent, gave Bondita her childhood back was forced to give into the norms of this evil society. And all this while, he is slowly burning on the inside. ALL ALONE. With no one to share his pain with.
In my POV, Bondita is taking a huge risk escaping from her home to go to the ARC house daily and coming back. She may be imprisoned, beaten etc. by CC and TKM for her mischief. Not only that, she may even be harmed by someone in the village if they find out where she is really from. Yet, she does it. She comes everyday and tries to make ARC smile. Because he did the same for her when she was all alone and helpless. And when Bondita was with ARC, he was in his early twenties. He was not a fully grown, mature adult yet. He was still a very young man. Yet, he did what was right and he supported her fully by going against society and his family. Now, despite being a grown man, ARC is all alone. Her once youthful Sakha Babu is now the head of the family with an elder Kaka, mentally unstable father, a depressed step mother, a young, aggressive brother and an immature little sister. He truly is all alone. There is no one who understands him or can support him. They all respect his power, his strength, but no one cares about his emotions and his loneliness. But, Bondita can see it. She can feel it. And that's what will give her the strength to fight for their relationship, to fight for the man she considers her dearest companion. Once upon a time, ARC gave Bondita her childhood back. Now, it's Bondita's turn to give ARC his soul back.
Let me know what you guys think!
