Those few moments

So...I watched a few clips of the show on insta.

And there were a few moments between Bhavani and Pulkit. Those moments conveyed many emotions.

When he had come with his family, Bhavani was certainly not happy with him.

Later when Bhavani mentions cooking food and Ashwini praises her, Pulkit joins and becomes excited like a child. I know Pulkit was praising Bhavani's cooking skills and she likes it when anyone praises her😆

But it was more than that.

Pulkit's excitement at the prospect of having Bhavani's food felt like a child's desire. The way he got excited and started requesting for the food telling her that he misses food cooked by her. It conveys that when he was a child, even though she thought of him as a servant's kid, she certainly liked him. And would give him her own handmade food.

In those moments, he became that child again.

Bhavani was not reminiscing those moments, but she was feeling the goodness of his heart. He had told her that he had always respected her and will always do. She's seeing that now. And a smile appears on her face. When Devyani is irritated with her that she is not replying to Pulkit, he again takes her side instead of coming between the mother-daughter. She perhaps thought he was the one who separated her daughter from her. But now she's seeing that he has not and will not come between them. Also he's a good husband, who deals with her patiently. And her faith in Pulkit is proving to be right.

That smile showed her changing perception for her son-in-law. There's still a way to go. But something has definitely changed in this mother-in-law and son-in-law duo.

Agreed. This woman is extremely selfcentered. Loves attention from all. Though I didn't like the way she was giving disgusted looks when Harini hugged her.

So true. But, I didn't like the way Bhavani looked at Harinee. It's fine if she doesn't accept Pulkit, but why can't she accept her grand daughter?

She is. I too disliked the way she looked at and behaved around Harinee. But wanted this post to be specifically about Pulkit and Bhavani equation hence did not mention that interaction.

Both the actors have done a wonderful job. Though Pulkit's inner child comes out in those moments, he still is the mature Pulkit who respects her since childhood and Bhavani absorbing everything and silently grasping the reality. You are going to love this.

I think once he mentioned that he was very much accepted by the family and they were all nice to him and even helped him become the doctor he is now. But his love story with Devi ruined their relationship. 😕

I really hope things will change and she will finally accept him. Even if not him at least Harini. The poor kid wants her nani's love. 😔

I noticed this too!!! And thought that Kaku got all nostalgic, thinking about the young motherless boy who grew up in that house, and suddenly saw him in Pulkit, rather than the villain who stole her daughter!

And his interactions with her, however people condemn it, has always been gentlemanly, and like a son who believes he did wrong. She must have been a mother figure long ago, and he sees that in her... he must have underlying guilt as well, that he broke that trust...

All in all, seeing the paththar start melting....
