Akki gets Bebo, not Saif!! - An article

Of course, this is the case in the upcoming Yashraj Films' 'Tashan' starring Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and not in real life, where Saif continues to rule the heart of sexy Bebo.

Sources say that though Kareena Kapoor's character in the film is in love with Saif Ali Khan till the interval and the two display great romantic chemistry on the screen, but in the end it's Akki who walks away with the girl. The change in the Kareena Kapoor's affections come at the point when Akki reveals that he was, in fact, Kareena's lost childhood friend and no one else. At this point Bebo decides to ditch Saif in favour of Akki.

But the trade pundits are not very much appreciative of the fact of Akki walking away with Kareena, as they think it goes against the popular imagination. The audience loves the romantic pair of Saif-Kareena and Saif Ali Khan not getting the prized girl in the climax may come as a shock to idolizing public and this will certainly go against the movie.

It may be recalled that it was during the shooting of 'Tashan' in Ladakh that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor had come close to each other, which finally blossomed into a full fledged romantic relationship. Saif Ali Khan became so obsessed with Bebo's love that he had even cut his finger to show her deep seated affection for the gorgeous lady, when her friends teased him to show the depth of his love for Kareena.

Sources say that the problem with climax scene showing Akki walking away with the heroine Bebo cropped up only because at the time of signing the film Akki was definitely a bigger star than Saif and hence he got the girl, as is the case in most bollywood flicks. But now after Saif Ali Khan has given a super hit film like 'Race' and become romantically involved with Kareena Kapoor, the audiences want to see them together in the climax.

In fact when the film had been planned, Saif Ali and Kareena were not romantically involved and neither they had fired the public imagination and become the hottest bollywood couple, but now when the film is complete, the scenario has completely changed. But as the film is due to be released on April 25, there is little that can be done on the part of producer and director. Now, the filmmaker is keeping his fingers crossed and hoping that people accept the climax.

'Tashan' which is one of the most awaited films of the year, has Anil Kapoor in the character of don 'Bhaiyaji' who loves to speak in English. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor work for him but one day Kareena steals a large amount of money and runs away. Saif accompanies her while Anil hires Akshay Kumar (in the character of a toughie 'Bachchan Pandey') to track them down.

Hmm….hmm….whatever be the fate of 'Tashan' at the box office but Saif must be praying that in real life no one should snatch Bebo from him, not even Akki…..er….er ….but Shahid must be amused….history repeating itself na….so what if only in film….hee…tee…hee!!
