What does lamphat mean? I keep seeing the word being used and I have no idea what it is.

I dunno🤣 lamphat to me sounds like an idiot. Wahi hoga aur kya? Im tempted to make a Keerthi aka Lady Dragon hate thread today.. Aao aur gaali deke jao. She is gonna act like a total bully today, now that she has that Khajoor to "handle" Pallavi. Akele se to ho na pata.. Akele me rone aur bhagne ke alawa kuch hona nahi inse. The smug attitude with which she says "Jo karna hai kar lo Pallavi, mera bhai mujhe har haal me bacha lega" Matlab isse zyada Pallavi ke liye hurtful aur kya ho sakta hai?

I don't wish that the episode was different, nor am I saying I wish Raghav had said this or done that. The writing and execution of the scene was flawless, and I wouldn't change a thing. It was extremely realistic. This is exactly how it would have played out in real life.

But that doesn't change fact na? He was insensitive, and anyone who behaved like that irl would be insensitive too. Yes, it's part of him being a flawed character, I'm not saying the flaw shouldn't exist, I'm just, idk, flagging it? It's more of a statement of fact than a criticism. Not an "Oh, shame on Raghav, how cruel can he be?" but rather an observation of "Hey, Raghav was pretty damn cold today in the face of that kind of outburst"

On Pallavi too, I'm not recommending she close off, but I would understand if she did. She shows her authority as a wife, but she's being far too lenient with him. Again, that too is just her being a flawed character- it's who she is with anyone, and the fact that she loves him obviously makes her understandably more lenient. Way too much of this relationship has become him making mistakes, and her forgiving them, and I'm fine with her forgiving more also. I don't see them as a roothna-manana kind of couple, so this is fine. But she does need to speak up about the fact that she's being treated unfairly, and she's not okay with it.

I do understand the point you are making with this post better. Absolutely, she needs to speak up for herself. She needs to let him know that he can't do that to her. Because if she doesn't complain, then it's again her hiding her feelings and getting more hurt.

She's lenient with him, she loves him- idk I just know so very well where she's coming from. But the fact that lenient ones make themselves more vulnerable and end up getting hurt & explode when their breaking point is reached. That's not too healthy either! But love is strange like that.

Now coming to raghav, his external reaction might seem insensitive to some but I can't say that I felt the same in the moment. He was visibly moved, eyes were tearing up, I could tell pallavi's words hit him hard. And he did say I understand your pain.

First I felt very hurt because pallavi was hurting, and then I felt bad ki raghav is also hurting. I could see what's making him react this way. Both of them were hurting, and so has been my raghvi heart all day🥺

Now I am not sure pallavi ko kaisa lga hoga. It's very much possible that she too felt it was insensitive of him (as she doesn't have a 3rd person view like us) and would later pick up a well deserved fight with him on this😆

Aisa bhi ho skta hai she was able to understand him a bit as he mentioned his father and brother yet again. Like she could see that he's apologetic and yet has no other option.

Honestly depends on what state of mind she's in. For me, I can be very understanding about a thing today and go in an all dragon mode about the same thing some other day because I was already in a bad mood.

I know what you mean. I agree also. I'm not saying he was unaffected at all. He was extremely affected. He barely maintained his composure in that moment, but he had to do what he had to do. His body language in the next scene with Amma was super telling to. That was not a man who got what he wanted.

But what he felt and what he expressed was very different, and even though I understand the reaction, I didn't like it, and that's just what it is. Pallavi, I don't think is going to follow up on this because, like you said, she gets it. But it's not even the first time he's made an insensitive comment in the course of her investigation, and it's definitely been adding up for me, and in that moment, as heartbroken as I was for Raghav, I definitely felt more for Pallavi. She doesn't express her pain very often, but when she does, it's a gut punch.

Raghav's 'main har cheez nahi bolta' shouldn't be a carte blanche for him to be uncommunicative, putting the onus on Pallavi to read between all the lines all the time. He may be overflowing with affection, respect and care for her, but that means nothing unless she can feel it, in words or in actions.

@bold- tell me about it. Today more than ever before I was wishing ki I only cared about one of them, at least din itna confusing nahi jaata. Yahaan I'm insisting that his behaviour was understandable but cold, and on another thread I've been insisting that people just cut him some slack already 🤪 Mera toh dimaag hi ghoom gaya.
