Atleast Jasso uses her pea-sized brain in her acting , this guy does nothing. All of Senior Virks/Khushveer's brains was given to Mahi(70%) and Fateh(30%) so Amrik was transferred the Gurpreet genes which have Nimmo Maachi's influence. Plus bachpan mein definitely sir pe gira tha.

But Amrik he got slapped. Then was ok with her during their visit to their house (maybe pretended to be ok....all smiling and grinning). May be he was ok because it was Jasso who would be marrying Fateh not Tejo😈

Later however he started making plans to trouble her. Like getting Jasso to lie to Tejo and come to their house in the night for the ritual 😌😌😌

That can be interpreted like classic pigtail theory.

And now too he manages to hurt Tejo all the time. He keeps on reminding her that Fateh still loves Tejo. It is a defence mechanism that Tejo never falls for Fateh.
