nim - senior T reaction is absolutely valid - they had every right to lose it and their support for Malini very understandable...but even when you lose it - there are certain boundaries to respect. The names they dished out to Imlie today belie the affection they have shown her till date. It exposes them for hypocritical classist behavior and in a way invalidates all the lovely T scenes we have all seen to date ... because you question their true feelings for Imlie all this while she was a servant. Folks hated what Prakash said to Imlie when he left her at hostel...about T's loving her only as she was a servant and would throw her out of the house if they thought she was bahu. Today they made his words absolutely true, I did not have a problem with them being upset with her for hiding the truth deceiving them etc...but the naukrani and pehchaan and behuidi nonsense was too much and all about a person they all professed to care about deeply. They can remember all Malini did but completely forgot everything Imlie has done for them to date? They did not even give her a chance to explain herself. The episode would have been better if they had kept the core T family as reasonable and not bracketed them in the same bucket as Anu. They could have refused to accept Imlie for the deception and not on basis of naukrani - that was so disappointing.

We know that Imlie will be accepted and T's will be a happy family soon - the extent to which this disrespect was taken - for me will be very hard to wipe out and enjoy future T scenes unless they do a drastic redemption for them or provide a explanation for their vile classist comments.

The fact the today's episode threw muck on past relationships is what upset me. I can never watch a previous T episode without remembering how they would treat her in future and that they never truly meant anything they said then.

And all this naukrani nonsense - in today's world is way too backward thinking.

My sentiments exactly. The reaction that we got was definitely expected but the extent of viciousness made me see the ts in a new very bad light and question whether they truly ever respected her even on human level. They simply refused to acknowledge all the sacrifices she made for them as a family. Adi ko early episodes me itna daanta jab reveal hua ki uane imlie ko room me aane ko manaa kar diya. All that looks hypocritical now with the classist crap reducing them to a level far below the cs. It will take a lot to redeem them in my book after this. In future any amount of love and respect they shower on imlie will forever have the shadow of this ugly incident over it😭.
