Who the fk is Virat to control Sai's life, daily activities & ask her questions. He was sounding very shakki type husband. And what's this I'm your guardian BS? This is the thing I've always had hated him for, is his trying to overrule & dominate Sai in the relationship and acting like he owns Sai. A partner can't act like a guardian. A relationship of spouses will always be about equality.

Also, I'm so mad at makers not making Sai use Pakhi's reference when they actually should've. Sai should've either said I share the same equation with my male friend what your share with Pakhi Didi, his reaction would've been worth watching or she could've said if you can be BFF with Pakhi after everything why can't I have male friends? It's double standards on whole different level & shows his apparent patriarchy & sexist mindset that he being the man can do and behave however he wants around any woman be it even his ex cum bhabhi despite being married in presence of his wife under same roof but Sai can't even talk frankly with any guy & has to stay 6ft. away distance from every man.

His behaviour is SO triggering!

Well actually it can be understand as a fact they he is insecure about her feeling, so he doesn't what any one else to impress her. Not like dominating the female is shown here. And I can understand why sai didn't bring pakhi instead of sunny becoz sai still thinks their friendship as love from both sides and she doesn't have that Kind of friendship with any of her friends.

I haven't been watching the show for a long time and not visiting forum regularly as I used to, but if I decide to watch the episodes I will answer the topics you have tagged me on!!

Some dialogues where damn problematic, but I believe and hope that we may assign them to inexperience and insecurity and hope that in the future we may witness a changed Virat, who trusts and respects his wife as an equal. It takes time to break the shackles of patriarchal mindset. My patience is running a bit out with how they've been normalising certain behaviour be it Kaku, Ninad, Pakhi or Virat. I was hoping that it would get adressed, but they chose to turn Sai mahaan in order to put an end to toxicity so lost my hope there. Still expect to observe a change, a progress in Virat's character.

He's very possessive, this is a bit we all do understand but why all these monologues when he could have told her he loves her it would have been so simple I think the show did not start yesterday.

The dialogues were problematic. His insecurity is his own problem. Not Sai's. He could have confessed his feelings but this gave in a view of a dominating spouse. The Guardian line was off-putting. Sai is just an 18-year old who deserves a normal college life. Remember in one epi she said her friends make fun of her because she is married? They did try to make the epi light-hearted but Virat behaved like an MCP with such dialogues. I hope this isn't the beginning of that dreaded track.

If Virat loves Sai he should confess that in words than making indirect references.

Virat- Pakhi reference yes that would have been apt. But see that's Sai, she knows the past and their bf jaap but she didn't bring it up. It would have been humiliating for Virat though it's the truth. I have seen people often saying Sai is taking advantage of knowing Virats past. NO see she didnt. She didn't make him guilty for that past. That's the magnanimity of Sai Joshi. Contrast this with a ckt assassination track if at all this happens.

He can keep his bhabhi cum ex at his home, call her pyaari cheez infront of his wife. But God fobid his wife make a normal friend. He wants to act like her father. Its the patriarchy & sexism. How dare he say he’s the guardian? Dekho agar chahte hai toh he can confess his feelings lekin nahi he wants to control her. Had Sai said anything about his bhabhi prem he would have blasted her

That’s the difference between Sai Joshi and Virat Chavan. She knows about his bhabhi prem. She could have taken revenge & taunted him. He didn’t. He isn’t even greatful for that. Good for nothing useless namesake hubby wants to control her friends now. Kamal Joshi gave up his life for this douchebag. He will definitely char assassinate her.
