OMG, the video was on another level. Unki chemistry from day 1 has been explosive. I am glad but that they did not keep the costumes, coz Adi would have looked too corporatized with that suit type.

But makes me understand why they were willing to take a chance on ST, coz that girl can create magic with little to no dialogues. While GM was also good, ST just stole the show. It now makes sense why they feel they can create crackling chemistry by just being in the frame and looking at each other, aur kisi cheez ki zaroorat hi nahi hai.

Yes he is guilty and if gets jailed thats not wrong for me. But he still remains protagonist to look up to as he himself said once ‘kismat ko dosh dena asan hota hai, mushkil hai apani galtiya mhanke unhe sudharana’ which DC never did or even attempted. So in a way Aadi has not depended on 2 sister’s actions he made sure what he is through his actions. - Adi for me has always been flawed, but someone I could root fir, because he has always been honest to Imlie. His entire arc for me has been defined by that one characteristic. Dev had never been honest to any woman in his life, Bu Adi made sure that Imlie knew exactly what she was getting into from day one. He never willingly cheated her, nor gave her any false hopes or promises. Despite everything that happened and how he treated being extremely wrong, neither Imlie nor Aditya were ever behaving under any false pretenses with each other. The fact that he could truly be himself and find facets in him that he never knew he had, were what connected him to Imlie in the first place. So Adi here can never be compared to Dev, because he was always faithful to the person he had feelings for, be it Malini or Imlie. While in Dev's case, with Meethi he would have thought about Anu & with Anu about Meethi. He could never commit himself to one person and was always finding a way to escape the situation rather than face it.

Malini arc they have made so complicated and hollow that even if they attempt to redeem her, as audience it will be very tough to believe. - She can never be redeemed, the best they can do is make her a bit less grating than she currently is, though I have doubts on that happening as well.

This problem is universal I am afraid. People are always more concerned in pulling others down, rather tha focus on building themselves up. Here I refuse to put the blame on anyone else. Both Meethi & Imlie had enough of issues and troubles in the last 20 years, but they never let someone else's actions define their reactions and personality. This issue cannot be blamed on the men. It is the women who conveniently use their actions as an excuse for their despicable behavior. I do not say the men should not be punished. But both Anu & Malini need to take ownership of their actions separate from what Dev and Adi did, if they ever want to get out of this with a sane disposition. Problem is that both these characters by nature are so weak that they will never be able to do that. Anu is too proud to let anyone try to change her, while Malini loves to live in her la la land to understand that she needs help and she has to move away to move on. So yeah, Malini is not confused, she just refuses to grow up and that is not going to change anytime soon, so I have no hopes for her redemption as well.
