No. Like this is SUCH a horrible idea IMO... Gossip Girl was an iconic show, and as they've demonstrated with the PLL spinoff/reboot and also Legacies as a TVD/TO spinoff, they really shouldn't try touching these shows.

Saw the trailer...was interesting...i have seen gossip girl the original...will definitely give this show a chance

Legacies and The Perfectionists were that bad? I always thought having some familiar faces on the show must be helpful. Guess not!

The new one is said to have cameos from the original characters, let's see though. Reviews are in and they are as expected.

Some shows are so iconic (for whatver reasons) that its best not to touch them unless done with the original cast again. GG was one of the last teen shows that enjoyed a huge fan following, almost like a mania. This one just looks too...bland?! Despite the budget?! 😆

Gossip girl original was so much fun that you will never get bored of it. I am sure the new one is going to preach. The main point of it was rich good looking people are doing horrible horrible stuff and that is my fav genre 😆 and the cherry on top was such a good looking cast apart from Ed.

Also every other critic and early reviews are thrashing the reboot🤣

That's why I enjoy Lucifer, he is so unapologetic 😆 Smoking weed from the crime scene 🤣

GG hasn't aged the best, I feel like whacking some sense into Serena all the time, but its full on an escapist fantasy with no consequences 😆

Ed was really good as Chuck. There's one scene when he is persuading Blair to sleep with him at a party...that was ☺️👏👏

Have you watched Dynasty? That's the only show in recent times that reminds me of the 2000s unapologetic teen dramas. Deserves higher ratings, esp than Riverdale. 😆 And Liz Gillies is 😆
