Loved it. Simply loved it. Just loved that one moment when she thought he was gone her facade broke. I loved that it was spontaneous. Also loved that it was much needed. It gave them the power of truth. Power of vulnerability. Finally their inner pain came out of their system through tears and made space for determination and strength. The determination and strength they needed to live without each other in that time. I loved that you made them humane. Instead of making them super heroes who can bear any pain, and smile, and never falter, you made them humans, who can become weak in the moments, feel bad about being weak, put everything in the past and move on with a new found vigour. But the mere fact that they can be weak in the moment, doesn't mean they have to be each other's weakness. They are allowed to feel emotions, they are allowed to fall weak. And still choose wisely. Reminds me of one of the lessons of Geeta. Every person is made of three gunas- sat, raj, and tam. Arjuna asks Krishna of every person is made of three gunas, then it's not in their hands. Why punishment for evil and reward for virtue. Why Karma? Krishna replies that apart from these three gunas, there's something else too and that is consciousness. That you can feel whatever because of the predominant gunas in you, but what you do, is on you. You are conscious enough to choose what's right and what's wrong. So emotions are inevitable, even necessary I would say. But what you decide to do, what you choose to do, is your decision. You can rise above your emotions and choose wisely. Or you can fall prey to your emotions and choose accordingly. Sairat made a conscious choice.

I'm so happy that his mission was not aborted. And that the fear once seeped out, no longer breaks them. Once spoken out in full, it lost its strength and grip over them. And their strength could be restored. Had it been kept inside till the last moment, it would've broken them both after Virat's departure. But throwing it out, they made it powerless.

The banter they had before it was spoken out, didn't have the strength needed to hold them. It was empty and weak. But the banter now makes them giggle for real. Because it has the added strength of truth. They are not holding anything in. So nothing is holding them back either. Because what you hold, holds you. What you hide from the world, hides you from the world.

Now, there's nothing to hide and nothing is holding them. Everything between them is real and raw.

They can move on from here with strength. Because now what they have is real strength, not a facade of strength.

And Appu! You made the same kind of banter look different in two consecutive chapters.

This seems so real...I mean how Virat consoled her and then our Jungli Mulgi feeling he went without meeting he..How innocent! The age gap between these two is blessing for their marriage rather than any flaw.....Perfect for each other...

Her shifting from Virat to Virat Sir and vice versa according to her mood and need...Aww...She is so young and has gone through too much...easy to say but the care, the affection and the love and respect Virat holds for her is at another level

None can match their level... How beautifully and smoothly these both slips into their comfort zones... Speaking lot with silence shows how much this relationship is blossomed!!!

And most importantly the family support...No matter what they r there and Virat trusts them...Loved how u explored this bond also!

Chapter 2 was beautiful. I love how you describe Sai and Virat. I have always found you having a good understanding of them and their actions in all your stories. It just enhances the beauty of the story.

So. Sai and Virat are that comfortable now? Nice to know. The scene in college and balcony was too good. Aai will be proud 😅. The girl who had forgotten her passport sized photograph during the admission, the girl whose bag Virat had to check on the first day of college is now packing all of Virat’s things when he is going on a mission. Nice to see these. I wish they show us such things in details in the show too.

I thought Sai would ask him not to climb on any electric post and call her, but she instead said ji 🤣🤣.

Her reply to Sonali was too good, Kaku and Ninad proud 😲😊. Love how Virat called her Maajhi Aai and Theekhi mulgi 😅.

The breakdown Virat was afraid she would have once he left, happened when he himself was present to handle it, handle her. This was the only way she would have been able to get through the coming days.

And the heartache he would have had to keep hidden, stressing him, making him lose focus at least occasionally, eating him up, also came out, when Sai herself could soothe him.

The very reason I fell for these two is how flawed they are... and how they accept it, adjust themselves, allow space for failure, learning and growth...

They complement each other, hold each other up, push each others' worst buttons, and soothe each other the best!

Beautifully linked!!! Truly... Virat is all about his farz, his Karma, and doing it with Dharm. And Sai is all Dharm, the right, always choosing it, no matter what.

The underlying unity in the two, the deep-rooted value systems they have, triumphs every time. The hurt, they fight, but they never lose respect for each other. And once the respect is earned, love has to follow. Love without respect is a fleeting mirage... love born out of respect is the foundation of enduring relationships that can weather anything.
