Putting my 2 cents forward, SAAKK has immense popularity due to their lead pair and story but they are not a cash cow for SP. SP is in the business to make money. There is no show like SAAKK on their entire schedule. It’s all about stuff that most of us don’t watch or care about but those are the shows that are doing well.

Frankly as a woman I cannot allow younger generation including my own young daughter to watch such nonsense. I am sorry if I offend anyone here who watch those shows but I cannot in my right mind allow a young child’s mind to think that two women fighting over a man is OKAY.

@bold YES! Our show would perform so well at 11 PM and it comes with a set audience which means a guaranteed TRP of at least 1.0. There is definitely another show that could be pulled instead of us given our TRP is greater than theirs and they barely have a following. If it truly is a purely "business decision" on the part of SP, I'd fire their advisors because they are very misguided!

PH won't want an afternoon slot. They should really test it out at 11, especially for a youth show. That Vidrohi show doesn't seem like a late night show.

What I really fail to understand is, telecast a youth based love story in a different demographic than the original one. A story between a professor and a student.(Quiet shocking by the standard of the channel, since the professor was not married! Ah, that is where the writers messed up!) Portray it with a very strong message. Refuse to promote it and force a change in storyline for a wedding track and refuse to acknowledge/promote that. Yaar toh fir story mein meddle kyun kiya? Chalne dete mast!

But honestly, the impact is beautiful. 48 hours half a million tweets again! Who has done this before?

Funny thing I just read an article on IG few days ago on how itv portrays it's FL/Bahus as extremely sacrificial and too sarv gun sampann. Promoting a regressive mentality. Annnnndddd....here we are.

We sell toxic plots, we don't realise the impact. From everything everyone has written here, feels more of a elitist PH entitlement vs a small PH problem. Definitely not TRP's for sure!

I hope the trend brings a change and for once someone listens to fans and the call of good content, it is the biggest till date for an itv show. I really hope!

Hotstar pe hi dete, humara sitara chamak jayega! Problem kya hai. 3 months notice for a proper closure is all the fans actually want.
