Loved what you just wrote. Today was really an insight to what each character thinks and feels about another character, be it how Adi feels about Imlie & Malini, what Malini feels about Adi & Imlie & what Imlie feels about Adi & Malini.
1) Adi's feelings about Imlie was a stark contrast to what he feels about Malini. Loved your statement that agar bulaya bhi gaya toh uski akal kya ghaas charne gayi. He has always been pushing her to tell the truth and today's episode tells me Imlie also very soon will do something so that he understands just how much she values their relationship. While I loved his little boy pouts and him being all upset at her, the minute she came, uske jaan mein jaan aayi and that was plainly visible to both Rupi & Imlie. He just got back all his strength to be able to pick a fight with her and remove all his bhadaas, coz he knows that she is not going to go anywhere, now that she knows what can happen if she does. the stark difference between Saturday's Adi & today is visible because his jhalli is in front of his eyes and he can breathe normally again.
Adi's feelings towards Malini were confusion first in seeing her there and then finally utmost pity. He actually pitied her for having to go through this turmoil, but still made sure she understood that this time she brought it on herself and has no one else to blame. When he stood between the sisters, he made his choice very clear to both of them that he is not a toy to be shared. He has made his choice and that will not change, no matter who tries to be mahaan in the process.
2) Imlie's feelings today were revolving around guilt. Like you said, today was her day to listen, from her mother who chided her for running away w/o telling Adi, from Nishant on the consequence of her decisions, from Rupi di scolded her to look beyond the past and accept her present & future with Adi and then from Adi & Malini about her tendencies to not want to hurt anyone, but moving away and hurting people in teh process. While Adi's anger was justified - he was tired of being the gudda to be exchanged between the sisters. He was very clear that if you decide to do any more mahaan kaam, I will not be responsible for what will happen next. Malini's anger was not justified in any way. Her MU led to her lashing out at the one person she knew would never retaliate back and that was Imlie.
3) Malini's feelings towards Aditya are very clear. She wants him as hers, no matter what baggage he will carry if he does come to her. She is willing to go to any extent, even sacrifice her self respect if he shows her even a glimmer of hope that her feelings are reciprocated. She will never leave him completely and move away, because woh uska obsession ban chuka hai. This will cause her to continuously ill treat Imlie but in a subtle way to remove the frustration that Adi loves Imlie and not her. That was visible in today's confrontation. She wants Imlie to go away, so that she can come & take her place in Adi's life. She wants to get rid of her, so that she can get the life she had before she knew Imlie. She wants Imlie to know just how mahaan her didi is, so that she can manipulate Imlie's actions to steer her away from Aditya. Today her dialogues and frustration showed that she specifically targets Imlie because A) she does not retaliate or talk back to Malini & B) Like her mother, she knows targeting Imlie will get some reaction from Adi, who otherwise is very capable of ignoring her. Adi is the least bothered agar Malini jiye ya mare. At any point of time all he can do is offer some token emotions to placate Malini and nothing more. So to get the required reaction from Adi, she targets Imlie. She did it before during the sindoor kand and she did it today as well. She did pick up on the cues that Nishant sent after the entire showdown, coz tab tak delusions ka chashma thoda utar gaya to see that not just Nishant knows, but fully supports his coll bhabhi, while deserting his "ex bhabhi".
I also hope that your wishes come true, coz we really need a scene where all the siblings and their better halves have a conversation about how they plan to tell the truth to the family.

Not correct - this just shows Malini is not shallow like Aditya and Imli - for that matter. She was linked to him for 7 years and got married to him (on his will btw). So a normal human being with would feel some connection! Ofcourse she is not cold and horrible like AMT - who would just forget everything in blink of an eye

Again wrong! She did not ill treat Imli by telling her the truth! This was the truth that Imli needed to hear. Malini is right - if Imli really wanted she could have stopped from ruining Malini's marriage. But Imli broke her house, broke her family, broke her marriage. Imli is no saint
