Thank you dearā¤ļøā¤ļø
I had read this at least 3 times before writing this comment. Haha, I just couldn't get enough and wanted to just continue endless. This ShiVi is sooo cute. They have my whole heart!ā¤ļøā¤ļø
I loved the dream and their slow progression. Lol and loved the special mention to Shiva being a villian in her love story- even when he was upgraded to be the main heroš
I can totally imagine this dashing Shiva! And flirting saliyaa šš The 9 yo one does take the cake. But who minds them when we get such a beautiful confession. When it comes to Raavi, it's expect the unexpected. So didn't think she will admit being jealous that easily. And loved how confident she was that she made a confession. No blushing, no nervousness. ā¤ļøā¤ļø And it was beautiful. I know Shiva believes in action vs words, but would love another beautiful confession from him. But my reaction was probably the same as ShIVi's learning that they won't have their own room after this beautiful confession. Glad they were able to steal moments at the Ghat. I loved the contrast to their conversation a year ago. They've come far.
Two things I didn't understand. Why is Mami wanting to be kabab main haddi? Haha, they're already married. And same with Achi and his test. Understand that he'd want her to be with someone best, but what will he do ? Both love each other and are already married. Miya biwi Raavi to Kya karega kazi?
And at your request for Shiva's test. I don't want any. Bichare ko kyun pareshan Karna? Unless it has to do with him doing something that may give us romantic ShiVi moments. Maybe it can be something that would require Raavi's help and she secretly helps him. OMG, he can cook something sweet for the family. Aakhir sasural main hai. Gender neutral family lagti hai. To pehli Rasoi types Kuch? And Raavi sneaks in to help him make the dessert and he watches her in admiration. He can go in dream world for once. And the whole family knows about who cooked, but keep on the charade enjoying seeing the two being happy and in loveā¤ļøā¤ļø

PART 11
Antor Lakhani was a simple man with ālive with life' motto. He believed in living the moment. His euphoria of life broke the day he lost his elder brother and sister in law in an accident. They were too young to die. They had so much to see, to experience. So much to live for, specially their Raavi. But destiny only does what she believes is needed to be done. So Raavi lost her parents even before she got to know what parents meant. He lost his brother. Their parents had the misfortune of performing their children's last ritual. That day had changed a lot in Antor. He had to let go Raavi because he was not capable enough to look after her at that time. He was 23 years old then with nothing. He became determined, got established and went to bring back Raavi to her home only to get refused. He earned everything, still he couldn't keep the last piece of his brother with him. Destiny didnāt support him even then. He left to Canada with his parents leaving his heart, Raavi in Somnath with her Masimaa. Over the years, despite not being with her, he never let her go. He kept in touch with Prafulla keeping his disliking aside for the woman. He made sure Raavi knew him, his brother, his family, her mother the way she should know. He tried to provide her with everything. He tried to secure her with an easy and comfortable life. He always felt guilty of not being for her there when she might have needed him the most. But she was Raavi. Raavi meant expert. So was she. She was expert in finding happiness in every single thing around her. He knew she must have faced those moments of being called parentless, orphan. But his daughter had hardly let those things touch her making him so proud. He always wondered if Raavi had gone with him, would she have been more happy? He couldnāt answer that. But looking at the couple in front of him whispering to each other, he felt he knew why destiny didnāt let him take Raavi. May be it was because Shiva was her destiny. Her destiny was in Somnath. It sounded cliche even in his mind but Antor couldnāt help wonder. He was content seeing her happy and very much in love. The care, trust and love these two shared were so evident. It made his heart lighten up a bit. Still he did all those tough father in law act, thus landing in trouble himself. He actually sympathised Shiva. He had been enduring and would have to endure his daughter's crazy antics all of his life. Antor could only pray for his son in law.
Right now he could see his son in law very āpatiently' hearing whatever Raavi was saying. They had come for shopping on Raavi's insistence. It was one of her hatke idea of testing her own husband. Testing Shiva's āshopping skillā. More like his patience. So they, i.e. ShiVi, Antor and the ladies of the house, decided to go to the local market there and then the fair that was being held just beside the market. Raavi with her aunts and sisters had been moving from one stall to another for 4 hours now dragging Shiva and Antor along with them. Antor felt trapped between all these ladies. He didnāt want to test Shiva. He knew his daughter chose her perfect partner. But Raavi insisted, literary forced him to become a examiner.
āFikar matt kije kaka, iska battery kebal 25% bachi he, kuch 15/20 minutes mein isse bhukh lage ga aur khane ka jidd karegiā, Antor frowned at Shiva. He had this look of sympathy and mischief. Antor couldn't understand how could this be good news. After getting fully charged, they would start all over again and that meant getting stuck for more 3-4 hours. That's a bad news, ānahi kaka, main iss phool kumari ko bachpan se dekh rahi hu. Khane ke baad iska pair jada nahi chalti. Ye turant ghar jane ke hi baat karegiā, Antor wasnāt sure but that was true. Shiva knew Raavi more than Antor. So he decided to believe him. And just like Shiva said, some minutes later Raavi demanded to be fed which Ridhima and Jahnvi seconded. They settled in a dhaba nearby. Antor couldnāt help smiling fondly at the young couple as Raavi fussed over Shiva and he just shut her stuffing some food in her mouth and kept feeding her in between his own eating. She still kept blabbering something and Shiva only nodded paying his full attention tofood. The bond they shared was so beautiful and deep. Whenever these two were together, everyone around they became outsiders by default. They could never understand them but only wish to have something similar. They fought with eachother, irritated each other, competed with each other all the time. But the love and trust behind made them so beautiful and unique. No matter what they hardly left each other.
Antor remembered the events of last two days where his daughter set up a mission tohelp her uncle test her own husband. Only it had ideas that had landed Antor introuble as well.
Two days before, Raavi had woken up early knowing well that her Achu would go for jogging at that time. She requested on joining him which he gladly accepted. Even he wanted to spend some time with his lovely daughter. As they jogged through the fields, Raavi very ātactfullyā asked if he was going to test Shiva. Antor revealed he was only trying to be intimidating, for good fun. Shiva didnāt need to be tested. He had said this to Shiva as well. He got confused as Raavi looked upset and started complaining that none of her uncles were concerned enough. Here she thought he was going to do some typical testing and came to help him with innovating ideas. Antor reluctantly agreed to do whatever she wished and she very brightly shared her first idea aka test. Cooking.
Antor could only laugh at that memory. Raavi was expecting him to have typical tests but her own ideas was not that upgraded. When asked, Shiva had bluntly said he didnāt know cooking. That didnāt help him, instead landed him in chaos. Antor's wife, two cousin sisters, three sisters in law and nearly 85 year old paternal aunt took it upon themselves to teach him cooking. They all had different opinions on cooking style, measurements and ingredients. Thus a mini argument had broken out in the kitchen with youngsters looking on. Shiva looked on the verge of blasting on their confusing and various instructions. Antor was afraid they would have to order from outside that day or they would not get food at all. He had stepped in then, shooing all ladies out and asking Raavi to keep an eye on Shiva as it was her idea and her husband. Later he heard from the youngsters how the couple had helped each other. Raavi only had to make theplas and Rotis. Shiva made all other dishes following Raavi's instructions. They had made a decent meal for lunch consisting of daal, potato shak, undhiyu, thepla, roti and doodhpak. Raavi was super happy with all the praises her husband received. She gushed around rest of the day claiming it to be Shiva's first rasoi ritual and how proud Dhara would be.
Next day she had again accompanied Antor early morning but this time dragging a sleepy Shiva along. They were confused to see her carry the family's age old rifle with her. On inquiry, she became excited and Antor knew her brain had again taken a twisted turn. She explained how Antor should test Shiva on his bravery with this rifle. Both men were confused and asked if it was not a typical scene out of masala movie. Thats when she became over excited as if waiting for that very question. Her hatke twist to it was that this time it won't be father in law aiming and son in law happily trembling. It would be son in law aiming and father in law glaring. Antor was horrified. What what else was she making in her brain? He instantly declined her and declared another test. It was how fast Shiva could run away picking his quarter insane wife in his arms who didnāt even know these rifles were kept for show. Shiva gladly carried her away.
Later that evening Raavi again approached Antor and he was almost ready to decline one of her crazy ideas. Instead she simply invited him to play ludo. Antor agreed on her insistance and joined Shiva, Titli and Sanskar. Antor's happy bubble burst when his daughter announced it to be a challenging match between father in law and son in law. But Sanskar won it making Prafulla go on and on about how proud she was of her child. Antor didnāt care. It was night and he could sleep peachfully.
And today here they were. He smiled again as he watched the couple leave the dhaba holding each other's hand, whispering and grinning about something. He prayed to the One above to always keep them together and happy.

āJyadanahi. Kuch 300-400 sidiyan hongeā, Shiva rolled his eyes at his wife's statement. How enthusiastic she sounded!! They were standing at the foot of a hill that held an ancient temple. It was Raaviās another hatke idea and Antor decided it would be the last one. They actually had a ritual of newly married couple climbing the stairs to the temple together. Raavi insisted Shiva carry her to the temple above. This way Antor decided they fulfil the ritual as well. So now they were waiting for priest to start the ritual with Raavi in Shiva's arm. Shiva acted as if about to drop her down making Raavi tighten her hold behind his neck. Shiva chuckled seeing her cling to him eyes closed out of fear.
āDekh, kaise chipkali ke tarah chipke huyi hai tu. Aur bandariya ki tarah latkeā,
āwoh toh main tujhe support karti hu isliye tere dawa ko thoda thoda sach kar rahi hu.Warna na main bandariya hu nahi chipkaliā, Raavi said pinching behind his ear making him yelp,
āae chudail. Apne nakhun apne paas rakhā,
āgadheri bhi bula le, usse nahi lagni chaiye ki partiality ho raha haiā,
āaur itne sidiyon ke saath mandir kon banata haiā,
āusse milne ke liye 600 saal piche jana padega na, Shivaā,
āchipkali, tujhe mujhse chipak kar godi chadna tha. Pehle bol deti. Main mana thodi karta. Yeh ulti planning kyun ki?ā,
āoh hello, akkal kisse udhar diya? Tune film nahi dekha? Aise godi me lekar 300 sidiyan charo toh janm janmantar ka saath hota haiā, Shiva could only frown at Raavi's sudden dreamy look. From them not wanting to even stay at the same room,to praying for togetherness for seven lives ā they had come a long way. He came out of his thought chucking,
āmere paas kam se kam akkal toh hai udhar dene keliyeā,
ākya matlabā,
āmatlab tu kuch jyada hi filmi nahi ban rahi? Agar ban na hai toh Leela wali deepika banna, hum dono ka faida hoga. Meenamma ko chod deā, Raavi couldnāt believe the audacity of this man. Yet she grinned at her husband's suggestion. She liked it but decided to chide him nonetheless,
āShiva!!Tere mann mein aur kaise kaise armaan hai batade. Main savdhan rahungiā,
āsabdhan ya taiyyaar??ā, Shiva grinned at Raavi's glare, yet he could see a hint of red in her cheeks. Raavi turned her head towards the stairs and Shiva placed a kiss at her temple. They were interrupted by the priest who asked them to move. The temple had barely 30/35 stairs much to Shiva's relief.
āApna godi chadane ka offer mat bhul na, samjhaā, Raavi whispered to Shiva as they stood together in front of the Shiv-Parvati idol joining their hands,
āGodi, tujhe? Kya bacchi hai tu? Apna wajan dekh. Dekhne mein chipkali hai par wajan dinosaur jitnaā,
ātu chal somnath wapas. Phir mein Dhara di se tere complain karungiā, they kept going back andforth as they performed the aarti together.
āaur Bhabi tujhe pamper karne ke liye tujhe aur khana thuse gi. Phir dinosaur se bhi bada prani dhondna parega mujheā, Raavi rolled her eyes at him and decided to ignore him for a while. Shiva grinned happily. Everyone started descending the stairs. Raavi too turned to follow them. Shiva held her back,
āRaaviā, Shiva watched with a satisfied smile as her face lit up.It was same everytime. Whenever he called her by her name, she would beam at him with so much happiness as if she just achieved all she desired. Since Shiva had noticed it, he started calling her Raavi more. But the happiness in her face never ceased, only increased if that was possible. Shiva couldnāt help grin everytime. He intertwined her right fingers with his left fingers, took a pinch of sindoor from the plate and filled her partition, āpehla saalgira mubarakā,Raavi smiled more wide if it was possible and pulled his head to rest her forehead on his, ātujhe bhi Shivaā,
They stayed there like that for a few minutes then parted to join their hands to the idol again, praying for them and their relation.
āPar Shiva, anniversary toh kal haiā, Raavi asked as they climbed down together. Shiva had a arm around her shoulder while she held the aarti plate,
āaur tujhe lagta hai kal humeakele mein waqt milega. Subah ghar ke liye nikal na bhi toh hai. Chal, warna teri masi phirse aa jayega hume juda karneā,
āsamajh nahi aata unka problem kya haiā,
āunka problem hai woh nahi janti tu kamre ke andar kaisi hai, aur yeh ek saal tune mere saat kya kya kiya.Unhe pata hota toh tere wajay mujhe bachane aatiā,
āchi kaise kaise aarop lagata hai tu mujhpeā,
āAarop!! Bhul gayi pehli baar kya huya tha. Tere pure concealer khatam karni padi mere upar, fir khud dhoop mein high neck kurti pehen ke ghoom rahi thiā,
Raavi ran after Shiva who laughed heartily at her proud yet guilty expression,
ātoh!! Mera pati main joh marjikaru. Agli baar na aaise aaise nishan dungi nah aur maine concealer ka naya dabba bhi nahi khareedaā, She slowed down seeing Shiva stop in front on her grandma,
ābhago bhago. Aur bhago. Abhi mauka hai, jawaani hai. Jab bache aayenge phir unke piche bhag na.Yeh saare training kaam aayegaā, Grandma said settling inside the car while ShiVi burst out laughing hearing her.

ShiVi were to return that day afternoon. Antor took Shiva with him to a room saying he wanted to talk with him. Antor took out a chest from a cupboard and settled on the bed with it gesturing Shiva to sit opposite him.
āI remember your father, Darshan bhai. Main unse mila tha ek do baar. He was a good man. Unka death ke news sun ke bura lagaā, Antor kept a hand on Shiva's shoulder with a gentle smile. Shiva smiled back deciding to not talk about his dad, ātumhare maa se kabhi mulakat nahi hui. Par Gautam aur tumse bhi main ek baar mil chuka hu. Gautam bohat hi accha insaan hai. And I have faith that his brother would be good too. Tum dono ke shadi ke pehle aane ka plan tha. But nahi ho paya. I was really worried for her. I had this regret of not being able to be with her always. I was worried about her upbringing and what kind of man Prafulla would chose for her. But now tum dono ko saath me dekh mere saare worries dur ho gaye. Main apni beti ke aankhon me khusiyan dekh sakta hu. She is really happy with you. Prafulla said Raavi chose you herself. I guess usse pata tha usse kya chaiye thi. That's all I need. I want the same for my second daughter too. Tumhare jaisa hi ek ladka meri dusri beti ko bhi mile. Joh usski zindagi khushiyon se bhar de.ā
Shiva smiled not knowing what to say. Antor opened the chest to reveal various types of paper and some accessories inside. There were a broken watch and a moneybag, he assumed to of Raavi's father,
āAfter their death, I was handed their belongings. I couldnāt part with them. Mere bhai ke akhiri nishani tha. Maine yaha rakh diya. Yeh bhai ka tha. Unka saare diaries yaha rakhta tha.ā, Shiva smiled realising Raavi had inherited her father's habit of writing diaries. Probably she herself didnāt know that. Antor took out a specific diary and ran his hand over it with a sad smile, ābhaii had penned down all his emotions, experiences and events from the moment they got to know about Raavi's existence in this one. I don't know why, but woh kehta tha ke apne damad ko dega yeh. Usko bhi pata chale uske biwi kaise kaise tang kiya duniya mein aane se pehle hi. This was the last diary he wrote. He didnāt get to give it to you. I tried many times to give these things to Raavi. Kabhi himmat nahi huya. I just cannot let go. Par main yeh diary tumhe de raha huā, he took out a sindoor box from the chest and kept it on Shiva's open palm, āaur yeh bhabi ka hai.I hope Raavi will be happy to get this I guessā, Shiva nodded overwhelmed with everything. Antor kept the chest back again. They were about to leave when Antor stopped Shiva again,
āBeta I know you will do everything to keep Raavi happy. Still a father has to say. Mere beti ko kabhi akela mat chod na Shiva. Usne maa baap ko nahi jaana. Par hum saab the uske saath. Phir bhi woh akela mehsoos karti thi. She wanted to share a bond with someone as deep and close as those with your parents and siblings. Joh ki hum nahi the. Uski dadi use dilasa deti thi ki her husband will be that person. She will have a family of her own And she has finally found that relation, that bond. Kabhi uska saath matt chod na. Usska nadaniyan nazar andaz matt karna, par samajh na zaroor. She always craved for home. You are her home now. May you two always stay together and happyā.
Antor left the room patting Shivaās back. Shiva stared at the sindoor box in his hand. Suddenly everything looked so much more clear to him. Why Raavi was so adamant to be a part of Pandyas. She had said once that they were everything she had dreamt of. Now Shiva knew what she meant. Despite all her cheery, over enthusiastic antics she had craved in a corner of her heart, alone. He understood why she easily gave up on Dev. A man whose heart belonged to someone else could never give her what she wanted. But she had understand what Dev -Rishita shared. She did what she thought was best to save the situation. And that was her best idea till date. Both of them had found in each other what they craved for. A companion, a partner who would understand the unsaid, share theirpain and stand by each other. A soulmate who would love you and cherish you like no other. He promised to himself again to give her everything she deserved.
Fahaaaa
