But now we have to see how they are planning on their equation. Aayi has to accept the person who took away her son and this isn’t easy for any mother.

Raghav respects Ayi immensely I think..He knows she is Pallavi's only support system in that family.. and Ayi I think now adores Raghav for loving her daughter..being just the kind of son in law she would've wanted for her daughter.. a life partner someone like Pallavi deserves to be with... But I think it ends with that... Raghav has his own Amma and Ayi has Pallavi..

So true, slightly diverting from the topic i feel like Jaya was in an equal marriage therefore she able to give Pallavi guidance according to that. Well Sharda's marriage has been a mix of both, while she has certain freedom but it is superficial...so she gives Pallavi guidance to be strong and stand up straight if she isn't wrong. Like Sharda had said, she couldn't do it for her son but she will now do it for her daughter. Sharda has already lost so much, she cannot afford to lose more and hence she has become a bit more fearless.

I don’t have any clue which discussion is this. Not sure who thinks like this but it’s no way fair to question Aayi’s actions just because she is Mandar’s mum. She has accepted Raghav and shown her love on both of them but she is Mandar’s mother and as a mother, it’s her natural reaction to feel somber on her son’s birthday. And as a mother, she will miss seeing her son today seeing them together but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love Pallavi nor that she isn’t accepting Raghav. I’m sure Aayi will also vent out her bottled up feelings one day. She will also have to let go of her anger towards VD to move on.

Its not even about mistakes Ashi.. we all commit our fair share of mistakes on a daily basis I might add. But when a person is in the right state of mind, mentally and emotionally, it impacts everything, the way you think, function and process a lot of things... When Amma was all wound up in her past, unable to come out of the rut, forgive Raghav, I will say she was the one solely responsible for the decade long estrangement in their family.. not even going to go to the mistakes, her constant meddling in Raghav and Pallavi's life.. now she is much more in control of her emotions and her actions after the burden is finally off of her chest..Don't get me wrong.. I LOVE AMMA. You know I do. but I think its unfair to say that what she is doing for Pallavi is something Ayi could never do as a mother.. Being stuck with and being answerable to a man like Vijay, has its own downsides.. Glad Amma has no one like that asshole in her life to worry about health wise and otherwise. If Vijay continues to be the ass he has been, would love to see makers go the divorce root for Ayi...

The thing is fans have been taught by ITV shows that in order to love one character you must hate all the other characters that will bring even slightest displeasure. All the character compliment each other. Aai may have been disappointed and that is her right, and so far she hasn't even projected that on Pallavi.

hey, before I forget I watched Behaad yesterday. Loved it. It gave such a strong message in such a subtle way. Thanks for recommending it. I have been binge watching Zindagi Gulzar hai. That’s one of Fawad’s another favourite of mine.

I said the other day, that why does Jaya have to displace Sharda as 'mom' for her and Pallavi's bond to be extremely warm, supportive, and beautiful? In fact, it shows that MIL/DIL relationships can indeed be extremely wonderful- I'm sure we've all witnessed those in real life. Similarly, Raghav doesn't have to fill Mandaar's void for Sharda. That is a space in her heart that's uniquely his, but Raghav and Sharda can still have a wonderful bond. Just because the relationship is one of saas/damaad, and not labelled as maa/beta, doesn't have to make it any less valuable or special.

Jaya has a daughter, Pallavi has a mom- so the Jaya/Pallavi dynamic doesn't have to compete with Jaya/Kirti or with Pallavi/Sharda. It's uniquely theirs, and it's wonderful the way it is. Same applies to Raghav/Sharda. They have a lot of potential, which would be interesting to explore.

Everyone except Farhad and Krishna make mistakes. My point was, we've given Jaya the benefit of doubt on her mistakes because- 1) good intentions, always 2) she's reeling from lots of trauma, which impacts cognitive abilities and 3) she's learnt from her mistakes.

1 and 2 very well apply to Sharda as well, and 3 is also starting to, so I just want to give her a chance, before we announce a judgement.

Not yet yaar. The vaccine had me too unwell to watch anything new last week, and then I was busy with my nephew all weekend. I read the plot blurb, and I'm so excited, but I want to watch in one shot, so waiting till I have a little more free time.

ZGH is ❤️...I have mixed feelings on Zaroon (though I understand his context, the patriarchy gets a bit much for me sometimes), but Kashaf has my heart and soul.
