If you come to think about it, Ayi and Pallavi never really had a heart to heart talk about everything that happened and how it affected or changed their inter-personal dynamics.. Ayi was angry at Pallavi for a quite some time, then she gradually started seeing things from her POV, not that she dint know about it earlier but once the storm settled, she got calmer and heard her inner voice, Milind's take on the matter also made her see things more clearly.. Vijay's continuous unjust behaviour made it easier for her to choose sides too and eventually she forgave Pallavi.. chose to support her, be her Ayi like she was before everything happened .. But Pallavi and Ayi have been dealing with their issues on their own, independently away from each other.. So it'l be nice to see them talk it out..get it out of their system.. Amma may have been able to help Pallavi in that moment when she was feeling guilty about forgetting Mandhar's birthday, but somewhere I feel Ayi is in a better position, being Mandhar's mother, to free Pallavi of any guilt or any burden she feels on her conscience with respect to Mandhar..not now but forever.
I have been waiting for a heart to heart for such a long time. The bench conversation, I had hoped would have been longer, but I agree- Jaya can tell Pallavi to not feel guilty (and she's right in saying so), but Sharda can absolve her of the guilt.
Sharda and Pallavi got over their tension due to external factors- Vijay's arrest, Raghav's efforts, etc, but the underlying problem still hasn't been addressed- Sharda's anger at Pallavi for not letting her in, and Pallavi's inability or lack of security in speaking freely to Sharda. A conversation won't fix it, but it will be a step in the right direction.
