Rudhita got divorced and Bondita ended up going to stay with her Thakuma who is very regressive woman who was against Bondita studying and being connected to Anirudh because of the history she shared with Anirudh's Kaka.

Anyway, there is a lot more drama there but she eventually wanted to marry off Bondita to a guy called Chandrachur but Anirudh saves her and takes her to London to admit her to her boarding school. he comes back to India and makes her promise not to speak to him until she graduates and becomes Barrister Babu.

Now the story has just begun with the leap and Badi Bondita returning to India after 8 years.
