Frustration-

1. frustrated Jasmin as lover. Couldn't give her what she wanted. Next couldn't wait one day to see Jasmin's reaction and got married..

2. failed mom/aunt and married someone they don't like

3. failed Tejo too. kahan college ka teacher aur kahan yeh kustiwala......just don't match. Jasmin tak thik tha. hubby/bibi same same.. .

Failure

1. failed in getting the girl he likes

2. failed to go Canada

3.failed to please family

Fool

From the day one till now he i a big fool. as far as the story is going he looks like will show more foolishness.

How do you fail at something which isn't one of your goals? He didn't want to go to Canada at first place, why are you expecting him to fulfill someone else's dream. I don't understand, Jasmine is provided full freedom, she is being educated, why does she want to marry someone who is a citizen of Canada. Why doesn't she work hard to go to Canada. Last time I checked, they allow citizenship to single ladies too. She hails from a good family, had all the privilege in the world, who stopped her from going to Canada???

Didn't understand this till date. They're not exactly poor. They've educated their kids, including girls. Tejo is a goddamn lecturer and pursuing her doctorate. How pathetic do you have to be to think getting married is the only way to go to Canada. Like just study hard, get a scholarship and leave? But then you realize you can't pout and smile and get good marks.

I know we are hard on Fateh (almost everyone in the forum) but he genuinely wanted to give Jasmine the "world".

She just refused to understand and didn't realise how much the situation had worsen.

The best should and need to be - the parent' not making Tejo their sacrificial lamb. They called off the wedding, if the girls were having difficulty to live in the village, send them to their Mami's for a short period of time.

I'm not remotely fond of Fateh, and these accusations are still so wrong. There are so many characters I like more... Mami, tejo, mahi, fateh's dad. But fateh wasn't or isn't a loser entirely. The worst thing he did was, to fall for jasso. Almost every wrong decision was because of her.

He's anything but a loser. Tejo says this, he's an all rounder. He's genuinely passionate about sports. He isn't that trashy dude who'd want to keep tejo just within home(I know itv has such low standards). In fact unlike all men in their families, he helps tejo in the kitchen. I'm not overtly fond of guys like fateh, but I'd be lying if I say he can't grow.

Among the leads rn jasso is the only loser. She's lost all genuine love, respect and relationships. And she ain't shit without other people. Her relationships are literally a transaction... Canada ka visa do, aur mujhe lo.

I mean if it's that important to you, if it's you as she says the most important thing in the world then it should be you working towards it, your sister is a professor, you have all the resources you need. It was as if it wasn't a love marriage but a contract marriage. Also, she belittles everyone because she looks a certain way, and she has this notion that her looks are enough for the universe to throw Canadian men at her feet

Her belittling others is the most idiotic thing I've seen. Like lady sit down you're not that drop dead gorgeous.I almost wanna throw her in a group of my classmates from school and I know they'll chew her out. I don't normally agree with bullying but she deserves it thoroughly. A group of teenagers from South Delhi would make her cry in minutes.
