Also, how can he even propose responsibility without telling Ishqi, and he can't just assume that Ishqi will be okay with him having a child with his ex-gf.

He cant assume Ishqi will be okay with it ...but he believes it's his child, whether Ishqi accepts or not that right thing to do is accept the baby responsibility

Logically it makes little sense for her to go after Ahaan than the real father of the child. As a mother, she should realise it’s about right of the child.

Trying to get married to him still made sense so that she doesn’t loose face. I don’t see a point in pursuing a married man she doesn’t even like.

@Bold: ITV has lost all logic

Also, she wouldn't have lost face value if she still blames Ahaan for breaking her heart and making it a reason to walk out of their lives. Ahaan will still be in guilt for sending Rhea away from her family because he didn't marry her. Sadist motive would be achieved.

A) He is not the father

B) He doesn't love her

C) She doesn't love him

D) He is married

E) She is rich

Why does she want to make Ahaan believe it's his child then 🤢

Even if the child was his; technically he was never in a relationship with Rhea. Of course Ishqi will be hurt but telling the truth is the right thing to do here. I don’t think he’s afraid of ishqi leaving him - even in the shower scene he was crying, trying to say that he will never ditch her. He is doubting himself here - something like khoon ne apna rang dikha dia. He is afraid of what he thinks he has become here - his cheating mother. He’s scared that people won’t believe him/ or he will loose face. He’s the kind of person to get affected by society. Also doesn’t want Ishqi to see him that way- especially when he goes around publicising his so called Sanskars. The social embarrassment will be on another level for him.
