Barrister Babu OS- The promise

Just as people are saying in the forum,i miss our lil Bon.Also new episodes somewhat lack spontaneity & continuity.But I will give it some more time.

And like everyone,I'm overwhelmed seeing lil Bon finally as Barrister. Also,the Krishna-Arjun reference triggered me somehow.

So here it goes.

The case was over.A huge dispute over a land on the border of krisnanagar & tulsipur which dragged over 3 years,had finally ended.

The verdict was in the favour of krishnanagar.

After the news get outside the courtroom,there was a doom like silence everywhere.

No one could believe it. Neither the defeated party and definitely not the winner party.

Anirudh Roy Chowdhury came out holding his head high.

Seeing his beloved people's bafffled faces,he smiled.

Anirudh-Its okay.Your Barrister Babu can lose one or two case too.

I'm just a Barrister.Not the God.

And he chuckled.To the outsiders,it looked like BB of tulsipur has lost his marbels after loosing a very important case,that too against their arch enemy.

His family,people who knew him,stood deadly stoic.

There was a smile,added with a chuckle on their Chote Malik's face.

Som's wife almost squealed in a real low tone,

'So,he can smile.He can.Dada can smile.'

After him,came out the Barrister who did the impossible.& She heard that chuckle.Probably the most beautiful sound in her world.It informed her of the peace,pride & exuberance of Anirudh Roy Chowdhury without even seeing his face.

Even standing behind,just looking at his back,she could see the content gait of the guy whom she considered as her universe since ages.

Her Shakha Babu had just ended his record winning streak of his full career and nobody was happier about that than Anirudh Roy Chowdhury himself. if he was still just the same Shakha Babu from 8 years ago,he would have have just broke into a crazy dance amidst of all those pthe.Probably would also distribute sweets everywhere.

And would order eight handi ek badamwala rosgullas from Calcutta right away.

But eight years have passed. That already happened.

For Now,Barrister Bondita Das will be content with just that one chuckle.

After,those few moments of silence, as more people started getting out of court,people of krishnanagar broke into loud cheers and claps realising the impossible had happened.

Anirudh Roy Chowdhury just lost his case for the first time ever.

PS-I am writing after real long & I didn’t sleep for almost a day.So, forgive me if its lame.

I will still continue it after I wake up🤪

I just needed to write up the scenerio I want for the purest mentor student bond.

i know right? All the famous teacher student examples were running through my head while thinking about an adult barrister bon and her shikshak babu
