Vidya, Kangana, Deepika, Alia, Kajol, Bhumi - all the usual top contenders for Best actress had releases last year. It's not Taapsee's fault that they could not put their best foot forward.

Taapsee won it fair and square. In fact her performance was even greater than some of the previous winners, such as Alia in Gully Boy.

No one said it was her fault or that she won unfairly…

It wasn’t a competitive year to begin with…

She may win it fair and square in that year but she dosent stand a chance with the rest when they are actually at their best …kangana included

Even the previous year too. Taapsee won for Saand Ki Aankh only because of Bhumi and since both had equal screen space, they had to give it to both of them or else she would crib as usual on twitter.

She is a lazy actor. I did like her acting initially but after Pink and Manmarziyan, every performance of her looks the same. No wonder she is able to complete so many films every year that her PR boasts of since she hardly puts any effort into her performances. She is the female equivalent of Akshay Kumar.

I don't agree with the critics because she has a good range (consider Baby and Thappad) and did really well in Thappad so the one note acting makes no sense however Tapsee overreacted and made a big deal out of it.
