The idgaf attitude is ki zamaana kuchh bhi bole, hase, mazaak udaye, but he continues doing what he likes.

Lol I didn't say that he shouldn't keep a stylist. He is a celebrity and he gives enough f*cks to make sure he is being talked about. This out of the box quirky style has been his usp for quite sometime now and he puts efforts to make sure he keeps it up. He doesn't even have one consistent style like Jared Leto or say Harry Styles or others, it's like his stylists just comes up with random "different" looks and bam he is in headlines and meme pages.. Not saying there is anything wrong in this. It's definitely his way to keep his brand intact but all I am saying is that this is not Idgaf attitude according to me...When so much efforts are put into your look and image then how do you say that person is carefree? That would be if you just wear something out of your closet without bothering with stylist or fashion.. It's completely opposite of what Ranveer and every other A lister in Bwood does.

Kajol used to be a truly DGAF type a few years ago but then she transformed into a fashionista too. Ranveer is one guy who probably cares more than anyone else in the industry. It's all carefully cultivated. And anything that Western celebs are doing is automatically considered cool and hip by Indian celebs so he wouldn't care what the poor peasants on the ground think. 😆

All the clothes Ranveer wears are big expensive designer clothes so they already kind of have approval just from being what they are. Same as Karan Johar's clothes. They wouldn't care about average people laughing at them because they consider themselves superior to them and believe they know about fashion and style much more than regular people who can't afford those clothes anyway.

This look he did here is a total copy of Jared Leto so it's not like it's anything original anyway. I think he's also aiming to get in with some designers so that he can go to the MET gala. It would be a good and easy way to get some International media attention. He should go for it - he would be a lot more successful at it than Deepika is who manages to go but makes no mark.

What I think is that he wore that dress because he liked it and not to copy Hollywood.

The last thing I would call Ranveer's "style" is IDGAF. Its more like...Trying way too f*king hard.

I bet the man spends twice as long as Deepika to get ready. Ranveer's mannerisms, clothing everything about him screams extreme Insecurity & a very unnatural desire to be the centre of attention at all costs.

I got the feeling for the longest time that Ranveer is trying desperately hard to get some kind of ambassador contract with Gucci. In almost every single off screen appearance of his he is absolutely drowned in Gucci clothing. To the point where it's very obvious he wants in. This shoot is undoubtedly him directly and very publicly wooing Alessandro Michele.

The fact of the matter is that no bolly celeb till date has managed to sign on with a big expensive fashion designer. All the A-list celebs wear them on the daily but none have managed to sign ambassador contracts. I can bet all my money that Ranveer is trying desperately for one with Gucci. Problem is, Bollywood in general is not taken seriously worldwide and these high fashion designers are very particular with the kind of celebs they work with. Besides, Ranveer is a terrible candidate. He got massively trolled and memed for this shoot, doubt Gucci would consider that a good thing for the brand.
