I couldn't even consider it nok jhok until the Ajinkya reference talk started. I felt truly bad for Vieat, and exasperated for Sai, but your take clear up a lot of things, how she is just tired.
But that doesn't excuse demeaning a gift of love.
And also, we need to remember, which Virat does remember always, Sai is a confided, motherless 19 year old, caught in extraordinary circumstances that require her responding with maturity way beyond her years.
She would have learned such relationship dynamics by trial and error in the normal case, but here, her husband, who gets hurt, ends up being the only person who she can talk to, and who can clarify things to her.
