TBH, I cant recognize Akshita outside Ishqi's character 😆

I only had a problem with his controlling behaviour.

But honestly, I don't think he would have dumped her after for 6 months even if she had been guilty. In his mind, he was punishing her personally - and he saw her as someone pretending to be upset about it while all along its what she wanted. He tells her that, right to her face. Before the Shyam fiasco they were already flirting with each other. In his eyes not only does he not trust her, it's her character he doubts. His life had taught him not to trust anyone - father's betrayal and his parent's eventual suicide, being thrown out of their home by his Chachaji, Daadi's abandonment, then he sees his sister being cheated on by her husband with the girl he fell in love and trusted for the first time after years. He literally brings himself up and takes the responsibility of his entire family on himself.. (Maama, Maami & Naani were there - but not really as assertive or parental figures). Even his sister was more like a pampered princess and nothing else. Useless as an adult.

What Ahaan went through isn't even tip of the iceberg in that sense.

I am not going to get into Arnav Vs Ahaan debate. 😆 Besides, I feel it's futile because we have our mindsets made. Not that anything we say going to change how we see the characters. 😊
