Promo dekh ke nahi lag raha hai😆
Another here who actually didn't mind today's episode 😊
Yes, the wedding wasn't done as elaborately as it normally is, but I'll let that pass given it's covid time, and some of the other sequences (especially Ishqi's monologues and Ahaan answering them in his mind) more than made up for it.
In the greater scheme of things, this is all to ensure that Ishqi doesn't directly go to AVM about Savvy and against Dadi. It's an important lesson to her- Dadi is Ahaan's blind spot, and she has to be very, very careful about the steps she takes against her. The bull in a china shop approach will not work.
Was a little surprised at Dadi's behaviour during the marriage- it was as good as a confirmation for Ishqi about what Rhea and the Mehtas had said.
I even liked Sarla's aashirwaad (better than Dadi's). Would've been even better if they didn't show her as a vamp for separating Sonu-Raj.
Bhewar and Kaminapanti in PHD were nice touches as well.
IPK was fun to watch back then but I agree with the unacceptable bit. Gul's shows got increasingly unacceptable with time, and even though I enjoyed some of them from time to time, I found them all quite questionable. IPZN has been an exception so far, although this new pace is getting unbearable for me 😆
Pat pat.
Put up with the pace for now. I believe they would do better once the realization strikes that they are going too fast. I think probably they have this impression that they are going quite faster as compared to the traditional standards of ITV. I guess they are seeing it as an achievement which can be had they not skipped the detailing. But they would do better, I believe!
Aisi jodi ban jaaye ... Ho aisi jodi ban jaaye..
But my favourite is the krishna wala bhajan..

Actually main... when you are marrying the love of your life... you should be happy.. I know the situation was such but there should have been a conversation at least.
Ishqi has been shown as a girl who stands up for what she believes in; now she is marrying a guy who she cannot trust?🤪
Ishqi was ready to marry Mayank also when there was no love, no trust. She is a practical girl. She knows you don't always get an ideal partner with an ideal love relationship with him. It takes years to build the kind of trust she is expecting. Ahaan does trust her in normal situations. Ishqi was talking about extreme situations and there she has apprehensions about his trusts. But it is not as big a thing to throw away love. She knows it can be built with time.
After pregnancy bit sorted, be that sweet person as before but not mithi chhuri with ishqaan and only have grudge on dadi.
I'd love that to happen, tbh
She ain't a bad person, just someone with lots of grey shades, and believe it or not- you get people who'd twist things for their motive. She shouldn't become outright negative😒
Maybe, Ishqi should trust AVM, and try to find out who the father is. Convince him, and if not successful, should explain what Rhea genuinely wants to her parents; thus starting a friendship between the two.
The only ITV show I have watched before this was Sadda Haq. And it was a youth show so there was not much scope for such drama. 😂 And IPZN I only started for Param. So all these things are pretty alien to me. 😆
Sadda Haq ❤️ Channel V and MTV were in a different universe, it's very hard to digest ITV drama if that's how you got into desi content😆

The character growth and progression is unlike I have ever seen on ITV. Arnav's character is the most nuanced I have ever seen on any hindi show. Even the forced marriage; it was extremely wrong/unjust - I felt bad for both of them.. how far he went to protect his sister.. as history repeated itself and he could not save his mother. His reaction made sense at the time.
IPZN - Ahaan's barbaad karna made zero sense to me. He had no right there.
I would still choose Arnav over Ahaan - because of the extent to which Arnav goes to protect when he does; someone who can sacrifice everything.

I did notice that. Also I felt like Ishqi somewhere knew that Rhea wasn't lying about Dadi.
That sequence really got me. The direction isn't actually that bad. Nor is the writing if I am a little lenient. They are really trying to make it work and I do see the efforts so it's not possible for me to go without appreciating that.
Dadi's grip on Ahaan is everything. The man has it rough. For him, going against the world is okay but not going against Dadi and it's natural, isn't it? After his parents, for him she was the one to look after him and Sonu and provide them with everything they needed - love, affection, materialistic needs!
He has too many favors on his shoulders to raise them against her.
@Bold: I sensed it too ... and I think she is kind of on to her, which she should be. I am actually glad Savitri reveal will happen because Dadi can stoop to any level to malign Ishqi and the latter should be aware.
@UL: Yes, this is only natural - which is why in many marriages when you have a conniving MIL it is so hard for the wife to relay that to the husband, because he has only seen one side of her since forever... this will take time.
