Looks like the ending of haveli track does not have much Krish or devta.

It makes me feel that we can get some shivi scenes on their way back😍.

Mental Health, Society, Fiction and Entertainment!

It's a sad reality that mental health, trauma and other aspects are entirely neglected in the TV genre, which is still regarded as the primary source of entertainment in India.

No matter how much we crib, the real issues in the real world are neglected on mainstream ITV.

If we focus on the content consumption pattern on OTT, it‘s more about flawed characters and twisted leads and layers. When such content is served with drama on the main TV, it looks blah because of the sheer lack of empathy and consideration for mental health.

Suicides are brushed off as trivial matter, beating looks funny and so on!

We neglect internalised systematic patriarchy, misogyny, and there’s massive neglect to layered complexities.

A mental health issue is brushed off by toxic positivity syndrome, which asks people to move on! There’s zero focus on grieving, journey and individual pain. Everything is around the family.

It's problematic for sure, and trust me; impressionable young people are watching this shit!

But, then I remind myself. Kids, these days have access to far worse content on OTT platforms. Sadly, though we are moving towards a hyper-digital world, the kids are no longer left as kids. They are becoming extremely susceptible to such sensitive content.

Completely unrelated, catharsis and mental health can take a toll on everyone! I was back in the office and speaking to a few colleagues who have lost family is difficult. I tell them, you don't have to be strong, you express and grieve! A day will come where you’d have healed without even knowing it!

It's okay not to be OK!
