"Yeh lijiye, Dadi.."

Riddhima said, handing her the pills, which she soon gulped down with a glass of water

"Its raining outside. beta?"

"Yeah.."

Riddhima replied. Her voice sounded a bit low as she remembered her conversation with Vansh in the garden a few days ago.

"That's why this fragrance of wet soil is hitting my nose.." Dadi smiled, closing her eyes, making Riddhima smile, slightly.

"Take rest, Dadi.." Riddhima left the room, not before adjusting the blanket.

Riddhima hummed a soulful music, as the fragrance of wet soil hit her nostrils. Her heart had decided to apologize to Vansh..Aryan's words were continuously ringing in her ears. Right now, she was preparing a special dish for him.

"What's this?" Ishani asked, walking into the kitchen with a bowl of veggies.

"Its a sweet desert called-"

Her eyes widened at Riddhima's reply.

"Omg.. Avoid these sweet stuff! Darling, try this!" She cut her off.

Taking a piece of cherry tomato from her bowl, Ishani offered it to her.

"Fresh, cherry tomatoes, dressed in pure olive oil, coriander, and much, much, more goodness!"

Riddhima chuckled. God, so fancy!

"No, thanks, Ish. Moreover this is for Vansh."

"Eh? Bhai doesn't like sweet food." she replied, and walked back, munching her greens.

Vansh doesn't like sweet food? Anxiety engulfed her.

Yet, somewhere in her heart, she believed he will like it..

She was all happy when she heard the screeching noise of car tires. Vansh came back! At the same time her phone flashed with the name Kabir.

She paused for a few seconds, looking at the entrance from where, soon, Vansh is going to come, and her phone which displayed the name Kabir.

Eventually, Riddhima swiped up the red button, declining the call, and left the kitchen with the bowl of the sweet dish she prepared.

The car stopped right inside the barriers of VR Mansion. Vansh Raisinghania came out, protected under the black umbrella that Angre was holding.

As soon as he entered, his heart fluttered seeing Riddhima standing in front of him, just a few steps away, beautifully dressed in a light pink suit.

She looked ethereal..

His eyes searched for the finger that was dressed in gauze.

"Riddhima?" He called out in a low voice, wondering if she's still upset for his behavior..

"Get freshened up. Aur agar baad mein free ho, toh mujhse milna.. Kuch batein karni hai.." She said, in a casual voice.

So he's finally forgiven? The VR was happy that he's finally forgiven.

Nodding with a gentle smile, he left.

The rain was still pouring. It seemed like it won't stop today.

"Don't you like rain?"

Riddhima was startled by the deep, voice from behind her.

Vansh sat beside her, in a casual white shirt, folding up it's sleeves.

"No, it's not like that.. In fact I love rain!" Riddhima chirped out, shocked.

"Accha, fine!! Now tell what you wanted to!" Vansh laughed. God, she has the power to turn a boring day into a happy one! He didn't know how would he react if he saw her crying like yesterday..

"Actually.. I'm sorry....I overreacted.." She confessed, her head low.

"Don't you think I should be the one saying this?"

"But, its me. I shouldn't have reacted that way !" Riddhima replied

"But, I started it." Vansh pointed out.

She sighed- "Let's say sorry together!"

"I am sorry." came the words, voiced out by the two of them.

"I am sorry." Riddhima repeated.

"What was this for?"

"Actually.... I went to the kitchen agai-"

She stopped looking at Vansh, trying to read his expressions.

"Why?"

He asked in a calmed manner

"I wanted to make this for you."

She said, instantly presenting a bowl of some kind of desert, topped with various nuts.

"Meethi bhat!"

Riddhima introduced.

Without waiting for his reply, she slipped a spoonful of it into his mouth.

With a straight face, he ate it.

"How is it?" She asked.

"Delicious..."

Riddhima gave a huge smile, she knew he will like it. Taking another spoonful of it, she continued feeding him.

Vansh didn't know how to feel.. He hates sweets. But today? Today this meethi bhat of Riddhima tasted like something heavenly..

What was wrong with him?
