So I'm back after the second reading with a explanation of my first reaction to this.

You understand my that reaction. I was so into that conversation between them that the accident happened though I was anticipating that since the start.
I liked Raghav's monologue here, he is so deep in his guilt but at the same time loves her so much.
I'm not a fan of long conversations, though I have written them myself but I liked what Pallavi said in the last.
Adding to my theory,
Did Ved kidnap Pallavi?
Or by any chance she took a bullet for Raghav litterally?
Raghav really doesn't need a direct connection to her death to blame himself as he is already swimming in the guilt.
Ved took his revenge from Raghav hurting Pallavi.
