Oh my god her dialogue of mera sasural choota aur ab maika bhi. I was like girl you are supposed to be a senior professor at a college, where you are supposed to be influencing young minds to be more independent and take informed decisions. Yet you give them an example of being clingy, co-dependent on someone who does not want you, lie to get what you rather than actually having an adult conversation and continue that lie to save face rather than actually sit down and explain your thought process to the people involved, so that they understand your reasoning and you can amicably deal with moving on with your lives. I mean I have really gone to the limit with this character. I can truly understand why they call her Dementor Didi, she literally sucks the life out of any scene she enters.

As for her being alone, ya that is not going to be for long based in the googly eyes that LKC (Loser KC part of the Loservedi khandaan) was giving her. Lagta we will actually get an LLHH couple in the show, thankfully as long as it is not Adilie, I am good.

I think they have certain age limit on the sets due to COVID restrictions and hence kids are gayab. I guess they sent Dhruvi and Nidhi too along with bacche so whenever they're able to bring kids back they could have a reason that "bahar gaye the"...just my guess seeing ST's latest interview.

Yep, it’s the usual token stuff they show in other SP shows too. FLs giving bhaashans on their so called strength and progressiveness but still clinging to a man at the end of the day for validation 🤷‍♀️😂

Log Imlie pe ungli karte hain but her background explains why she views marriage and sindoor the way she does. What excuse do these so-called modern, educated working women have to be so weak and spineless in the need to cling to a man?

I was laughing over Didi ka “main akeli reh gayi” dialogue especially hard. The Imlie who never had her privileges, her education or her financial independence also never wept over “being alone”. Even when she felt alone or abandoned, her stance was always about FIRMLY focusing on herself assertively….,she has dreams and goals for her life beyond debilitating herself over sasural nahin hai, maayka nahin hai blah blah. So called modern woman is the one crying over sasural, maayka, akelapan while the supposedly gaon ki gawaar has the capability to imagine her life beyond a man 🤷‍♀️. Yes Imlie loves Adi but she doesn’t sit and cry over akelapan on generic levels like pathetic Didi.

So yeah it’s beyond laughable that people want to claim Didi to be a “progressive” character simply over wanting a divorce. Lol asking for a divorce but still sitting and crying over the same man, still continuing to hang around his life for token purposes. Yeh kaisi progressiveness hai? 😆….Simply being an educated working woman doesn’t make you progressive. Progressiveness SOCH mein hoti hai. Imlie who is otherwise labeled regressive for giving regard to sindoor is much more progressive and independent mentally than the older, so called mature/sensible Didi😆.

Anyways the world runs on tokenism and marketing. Actual substance mein kam hi logon ko interest hai 😆

That doesn't seem true caz well the kids were actually shooting when they initially put those restrictions and kids younger then these ones are shooting in other soaps . Woh choti sardarni has like 3 younger then these so is YHC now after leap has chote chote bache .. that is on top.of my head quickly am sure there are more shows with kids woh YRKKH nain choti akshu is like an actual toddler learning to walk and crawl in the show haha so that doesn't seem to be the case

The funny thing is that the kids are Rupi’s but they rarely show her mentioning them also 😆. Yeah I figured it must be due to some Covid restrictions….but ek token line hi dikha dein about the kids being away at summer camp, school trip or something….they don’t even bother with that much 😆….all time needs to be filled with Didi related bakwaas na 😆

Dhruv Nidhi ko I think they aren’t bringing back cuz of story limits abhi I guess. They’ll have to be brought up to speed on a lot to come back. 😆….but yeah they can conveniently say these two were away at some rishtedaar for some reason.

Imlie is also loved by many characters in this story but we still get many instances of people disliking her, calling out her mistakes, her flaws. This never happens in Didi ka case. It’s all just zabardasti ki bhakti ek ke baad ek. That is what makes her more intolerable more and more. No one is interested in watching a one tone veneration for a character who has clearly done many wrong things and told many lies too but everyone acts like all her wrong acts are also great things 🙄🙄.

Divorce bhi kahan le rahi hai caz she actually wants it the whole thing is a facade she threw that at him to guilt trip hi initially ke I want divorce ke phir yeb imlie ko chod dega remember her sab bhool jao just before asking that and that imlie says kuch and karti kuch. she threw a card at him iski badkismati and humari khushkimati adi went with pleasure do it asap and yeh plans gayi warna yeh woh aurat hai jo aise hi chipki rehti as she herself said ke OK whatever beshak yeh biwi hoti bhi nahi legal but mistress kbud ho sakti hai🤣 facy sari pehan ke..

Progressive my foot .. what exactly has she done progressively the woman cannot even respect herself but she is progressive sure. Yeh sabki daya pe padi hai bol nahi sakti ke nahi chahiye har koi iske liye kaam kare isko dhoond ke de accommodation and all khud nahi kar sakti prof ji... aur kuch nahi toh inke college main hi hostel hoga...

Again baat karye hain but imlie was good enough on her own to manage even a hostel room for herself too bina any actual ID and too with her magic and stayed there for the short span of time...yeh pohnchi hui didi woh bhi nahi kar sakti ... and not like imlie was unwanted adi wanted her more than anything but uski self respect was above everything and she didn't wanted to hurt this woman 🤷‍♀️

With you on everything about imlie being lonely and bilkul ek dum akeli actually so akeli ke not being able able tell her situation to all in order to protect themselves and yet being so self-respecting and dignified not like this didi jo doesn't even have those kind of issues but she CHOOSES to stay silent due to her ego and then act ke bas dunia ki sabse bechari hai.

Yeah budget savings might be part of it but Imlie ke makers in general have been much more careful than other PHs in terms of Covid protocols on set. Isliye they’ve been incident free while all other shows have had someone falling sick.

I guess they don’t want to bring the kids back for token scenes. Baaki shows mein kids have a more central role isliye unko accommodate kar liya.

Imlie waale got more strict about Covid protocols just before the Mumbai lockdown I think and abhi bhi wohi continued rakh rahe hain.
