He did not underestimate Mami but he knows how to put her in spot. Previous times Dhara or Suman would stop him, remember the Mirchi drama during Dev-Raavi haldi, Suman asked him to go ahead but Dhara stopped him. So he thought by convincing Suman and Dhara to stay away, there won;t be anybody to support Mami at that point, so she will have to give in. But it was Mami who pulled Raavi, then he decided, what we all know now.

I am in no way defending Shiva today, I am only trying to see from his POV.

I am also very happy that Raavi refused to go with him as she should not have been brought into this.

Let him grovel, feel the pain of being away from her, then he will know her worth, hopefully he will bring her back and not Dhara😕

Both were on high dosage today, and Shiva, despite having all the pain in his heart, propagated the patriarchy a step further. He fell not only in the eyes of Raavi but me too, by saying those words. There's no forgiveness until he begs for it. Like Dhara’s beating, I can't forgive him for what he did ever. Black Mark!

And I completely agree with you. If Raavi didn't have the right to speak between Shiva and Maami because she wasn't related to this kangan issue, that Shiva had no right to drag her in that ridiculous demand of his.

It still doesn't sound believable to me, but who knows what the makers have thought 😕. Haldi and mirchi issues are minor compared to the kangans, which both Shiva and Maami are equally strng and obsessive about

We also have the money issue which is unresolved so far
