Samantha turns down Netflix offer

We all love Samantha Akkineni and her exceptional talents. She won awards and love here in South India. Now, the global audience has got the chance to admire her performances. After the release of ‘The Family Man 2’, Samantha has become a big name nationwide.

No wonder that global streaming giant Netflix offered a stunning offer to Samantha to headline a new web series, ‘Baahubali’.

After the success of ‘The Family Man 2’, the team offered Samantha to play the role of younger Sivagami. The ‘Baahubali: Before the Beginning’ explores the rise of Sivagami, from her childhood to becoming a queen. Netflix team must have felt that if Samantha comes on board, the series would become red hot.

The amount Netflix proposed as remuneration to Samantha is also said to be huge.

Samantha, however, reportedly turned it down.

That's worrying. She needs to be protected from KJo at all costs.

Wish someone like an Anurag Kashyap or Dibakar Banerjee or any of the new wave filmmakers cast her.

It's a free world and everyone is free to work with whoever they like. But damn, Netflix loves poaching on Amazon waters. First the Mirzapur boys Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey and now Samantha.

He just distributed the Hindi version. He had no creative input to give.

If Bahubali was getting made in Hindi by him, he would have made a mess of it. Better Sam stay away from his movies. But it's alright if she networks with him; there are a couple of decent directors in Dharma. If it's someone like a Shakun or Gauri I wouldn't really mind.

Eww, no, working with floppies like Anurag and Dibakar is not gonna help her.

Unless it is some web series, she shouldn't work with these two for cinema release.

They may not make blockbusters, but they are good filmmakers. And Samantha is thirsty for good roles/films. She already has an awesome box office record back in the South.

I hope she gets good offers
