I always find Sony shows much better so I give it a try. I started watching IPZN from the first episode without knowing its Gul show or did not watch the promo. When I watched the first episode I was sure it is Gul show then I searched promo and all😆 I did not have many expectation and first impression wasn't good but still stuck to the show. Then I just started loving it after a couple of weeks.

What's up with SP these days, making all remakes of regional shows?😕 Are they out of original ideas?😆

I think 4 Lions has another show running on Colors, Namak Ishq ka I think the name is? Zee no longer exists for me honestly, and I think they gave up themselves😆 SP shows are mostly bekaar with nothing new to offer. SP has been doing it for a few years now--earlier they started with a couple of Bengali ones and now slowly moving to other regions for their Hindi adaptations, primarily because all these were hit in their respective locations so it's pretty much a given that they will be received well.

Idk why SP shows still lead the TRP charts and Sony shows suffer so much they are pulled off air abruptly more often than not. I honestly think Sony usually does a better job concept-wise, although they still need to work on their online promotions.

I didn't know IPZN was a Gul show either or I would've NEVER given this a try in the first place tbh😆 It started feeling suspiciously familiar after a couple of episodes and that's when I googled to find out it's another one of her genius babies🤓 I'm still doubtful like

🤣 so I'm waiting my dil thaam ke seat pakad ke that any moment now I might have to run for the exit, I can never relax knowing it's her show😆

Normally contract last for 1 year based on what i noticed from guls other PH shows...KSG had 1 year contract with gul before he left..he revealed it..so this show should last till nxt march depends on the story line and ratings

That formula seems to be working for them TRP wise! Most Bengali show remakes, but MHRW I think is a Telugu remake.

And it's not just Sitara Hindi that's doing remakes, even their other regional language channels are happily copying it 😃

Personally, I find it tough to watch a serial if I know it's a frame by frame adaptation of another show, and the plot is openly available on Wiki or elsewhere. Ghum, for instance, is inspired by Kusum Dola, and after reading the whole KD plot on Wiki, my eagerness to watch Ghum (even despite Ayesha looking fantastic in the promos) disappeared 😔

This. I can't really watch copies if I've already watched the original. For movies, I can because there's a much wider scope to look at the performance and story-telling technique but it gets super repetitive for TV series.

All I know is in his Raj baddhan radio interview Param said that show is not going anywhere for atleast 3-4 months.

But given the change in pace....it may be wrapped up by August. August had always been our speculation based on some news reports.

I think the TRP of SP shows is high irrespective of their content. People by default watch SP shows. It is more about their PR and management. If SP comes up with good shows like Sony, TRP would be higher than what you get on Sony.

I hope not....this show hv potential if given a chance,its possible after marriage alot of drama will happen and it will drag.i have a feeling they changed the storyline because mumbai was under lockdown and they couldn't shoot so storyline changed if not the wedding wouldn't be so fast...since they had to shoot in the resort it was uncertain on how long they had to stay there so maybe they shoot the wedding sequence fast...i dont know just my guess

Frankly speaking, I'm still confused about the plot progression. I just never saw a reason as to why they had to rush everything like this. I am not convinced they HAD to get over with all the weddings and functions while staying at the resort--makers are perfectly capable of going forward with a story in other ways if they decide to keep the big revelations for later. SO many sub-plots, tracks got wrapped up hastily within the span of, like, 3 weeks--not even a month! And this show started in March if I remember correctly, what was the point of this? Gul's previous Jinn show mein they took a decent amount of time in clearing up the MU. I'm sad at the loss of so much potential🤔
