BTW it would be a travesty, if it really happens, as Sawai has been giving exceptional performances since a couple of months!

Yeah. Actually Sawai is not there in musician Girish video and photo also of that week.

Even though there may be other reasons but I think your guess is right. Also I don't see why they will skip elimination this week considering they wanted finals in mid July.

After watching all performing from many months now I feel bad if anyone gets eliminated. Can't they declare one winner mid july without eliminating any contestants.
