its can be surprising how fast people can learn a language and culture when submerged in it. and mayb some1 taught her how to right and read hindi too..when teaching her how to speak in london... my moms a hindi teacher for kids who are born and brought up in north america. they are learning to read and rite really well..even though they speakin is poor because of the lack of people interactin with them in hindi. one student went to india for 3 weeks n now is soo much better with speakin hindi cuz he spoke with his grand parents everyday. n he prob writes better hindi than i do neways.

actually it didnt come as a big shocker to me only because as you may recall earlier on..when chintoo and the other kids were teasing her about not apologizing to amar..she was able to read the signs that they made, "dadda ko sorry bolo"..it implied that she could already read hindi, no? i'm not sure if the scriptures in the Ramayan are different then colloquial Hindi tho so that would be a different issue..also maybe she's starting to acquire more of Vidya's habits just like she remembered how to cook kheer!

Ooh Ntara, that's true. I was even thinking about her reading those signs when it happened, but I forgot about that completely. Oh well..she learned some way or another.

Nazmul, do you think she really remembered the time Sagar gave her the Ramayan, or they just showed that flashback for us to see? It's confusing when they show the flashbacks. 😕 Like when Divya put the mala on Amar in the mandir, they showed flashes of SV's wedding, but neither of them remembered that. Lawyers must be inquisitive for their job, but that doesn't really mean they are in their personal life, na? 😛

I don't know about being a lawyer, but for surely dealt with many in life. But any educated intelligent person would be inquisitive about things and incidents that don't add up regardless of their profession.

Hey guys dont forget there are CBSE Indian schools all over the world. They are taught Hindi there and it is a a preliminary level. So if you do not actually speak hindi around then you forget the language you have studied in school. I have learnt Marathi all my life in Mumbai but still do not know to speak Marathi because it is not my native language.
Or take for instance any South Indian person. They do not know to speak Hindi even if they have learnt hindi in school.

maybe she knew it from her previous janam (lucky her) 😆
but it's a bit strange. im from the netherlands, but i needed about some 6 months to READ hindi. i cant speak it, cuz here even my whole family speaks dutch.... even then, i can understand almost everything.(thanks to the serials 😆 )
my writing is really poor 😛 (for those who know hindi, i mean those I at the left or I at the right, "U" at the left, "U" at the right? 😆
there are so many "symbols" for the same character.........)

and even if you just learnt hindi, how could she read the Ramayan. i mean, thats not allday-hindi, its really deep 😕

ah let it be:P

SA 😳

Reading poster with "dada ko sorry bolo" and reading Ramayana is completely diferent.......Ramayan is in Sudhdh hindi with so many sanskrit words and slokas in it....
She was able to just flip thru the right pages very fast when it says..Raam ke bina sita Adhuri hain and Sita ke bna Raam adhura hain"...
