Trust one word to change the whole context of the sentence. I meant I have not been a huge fan of ITV!

This is the biggest problem for me too! I don’t hv a problem with the age difference myself, if there’s any, but I’m not ok with him skipping from Anokhi to Babli within a matter of weeks. It makes his feelings for Anokhi artificial and I don’t think they portrayed it as such from the onset.

Mujhe jo samjh nhi aaya woh tha promo. Vanraj realises his mistake when Kavya doesn't cook and do things for Vanraj whereas Anupama did. So he realises he should go back. Yeh toh samjh nhi aaya. But chalo har show ko majboori hai ek trp. Kya hi keh sakte. Unki bhi wahi majboori hogi. Shayd trashing lag rha hoga kisiko. I don't want to hurt sentiments of anyone. Sabka alag alag nazaraya hai. I respect that. And secondly jo bhi show banate hai unko ghar chalana hota hai apna. Aur agar koi ghar chalane ke liye kar rha ho toh as I said again and again we can't hate on them. I don't hate on makers or cast. Everything that I say is to do with India as a society more than an individual.

actaully she should just tell him go marry who ever you want I am focusing on my studies.

even in precap she should just reply: you are my prof and singing a song on your mehandi is not in prospectus 🤣

N top of that family accepted Vanraj like he did some small mistake n the only person who is at fault is his gf . Like dude he cheated his wife , misbehave with her n still forgiven 🤢

Now the worst part when u see ad of this seriel that both current wife n ex wife living together 🤢 n star plus is promoting this like this is not a big deal

Correct me if I am wrong women who are educated and drink are shown as vamps a lot more not to mention if women are rich.

For real, ITV vamps are what me and you would consider independent progressive women. They get turned into obsessive lovers with no self respect and played against the perfect traditional sacrificial bahu types. This formula is so worn out, but trp aunties love it!

@bold: Exactly. You can see Ahir’s admiration of Anokhi and there was a depth to his love, not an obsession like Shagun.

What we hate is sometimes what our insecurities are. We hate what we couldn't become. Maybe what they were not allowed to by their families and they resent it. There is a humanitarian side to perpetuators of patriarchy. It's all extremely complex. I just wish there was a slow and steady change. I don't hate the perpetrators. I want them to change and come on the other side of their notions. That's all.

There’s a massive interest in maintaining patriarchy, especially in India(or in Kerala, which is what I know well). I understand we were all brainwashed by it and need to relearn. I just have a real problem with women who want it maintained and are the enemy of fellow women.
i keep thinking change is on the horizon with the newer generation but then I’ll hear of something in the news and realize that even the newer generation are being raised by regressive parents to maintain the status quo. This expands to religion and caste issues too.
