I mean, we saw Raghav Rao with his aura and class, and this just seemed too crude for my liking (similar to the washing feet scene). I know they want it to be funny but it went overboard, especially with the servants watching. Do they really expect us to believe that Raghav would be like this in front of his wife? Sure, she might want to beat him, but if they had to do it then the whole sequence could have been executed much better, with a bit more class. As a standalone it was comic and the acting was fine but when you look at the big picture it felt out of place like the choking scene did.

I completely agree. We spoke about this before also, but this show makes some really crude missteps sometimes. We were in sitcom land today. Also, putting the humor of Milind-Raghav bonding aside, I never want to see Pallavi in the same light as Sulochana when it comes to being a wife, and today's scene almost identically mirrored one of theirs.

But honestly, I was prepared for much worse with the broom and gave myself lots of pep talks to not overthink it, so I was able to really enjoy and laugh out loud today. I'm also sympathetic to their need to put in some absolute comedy after the last few days to keep more casual audiences from dropping off. It reminded me of that scene when Raghav was combing Pallavi's hair after chicken pox. It wasn't in character for those two to be flirting and blushing and talking like that in that stage of the story, but Shivangi had been absent for a bit, and they needed to squeeze in a RaghVi moment.

Even if they stuck to the jhaadu sequence, I feel a couple of edits could have made it a lot more palatable. The staff was absolutely unnecessary. I liked them circling Jaya, with Raghav hiding behind her and her egging Pallavi on, but I didn't like the chase around the house. Would have been okay if the jhaadu was just picked up as a threat she was waving around but not using for actual hitting, have her back him away into a more private space while yelling at him, and have the collar wala scene without audience.

You know what was brilliant about that scene? That he was floored, amused, in awe, and so so relieved while giving her that indulgent look that only a husband can give his dear wife, and then towards the end of that staring session in the last few seconds, the look in his eyes changed to something more serious and determined, as if to say, she's given me a clear sign, I won't let her go and will do what it takes to make this marriage successful. This was subtle but brilliantly done by Sai.

I noticed his eyes too, damn. Gave me so many feels. I wonder to what extent Pallavi realizes how deeply these things she does and says so casually impact him.

I'm waiting with bells on to see how his approach to the relationship is going to change with this new sense of security and determination. I know we're going to jump headfirst into the Kirti/Sunny thing now, but I am counting on the makers to keep developing RaghVi organically as they have so far.

I am with you Jean. I hope makers stop trying make us laugh at the expense of RRs character. RR is funny in his own way and it's enough. No need of such scenes.

I understand their intentions of showing Pallavi strong and capable Mrs. Raghv Rao but this isn't the way. If they want to show Pallavi's growth first show her as Pallavi . No need to make RR do all those ridiculous things.

And please NO Ardhamayindha from her anymore.

Ardhamainda made me cringe again today. Twice in one week. I'm dreading that they'll make this a thing 🤦🤦

Yes, Raghav is funny without trying hard, like we saw in the scenes with Farhad. This is a business tycoon not a clown. They have to be careful not to dilute the aura. Sometimes I feel I'm watching a different show and now I know why Sai said he preferred angry RR. The current version is looking silly in the name of being romantic. I think he can do romance without all this.

@bold yes, agree 100%. I would rather have her say her signature samazla. I get why they did that in the feet washing scene but in today's one it felt out of place.

Maybe after wearing his clothes, this word rubbed off on her for good.

Raghav running behind his wife was way too childish, (I felt it in the comb scene too) his inputs or discussion with Farhad was fine. But I would rather wish he finds his style without anyone else ideas and especially not internet. That singing route was way too cliche for me and not RR. There is a certain personality in Raghav which is what is attractive. I would rather prefer to keep it that way.

Agree on the samazla part. Pallavi is everything she is and they havent altered her. Why change Raghav.?

Except this week wasn't the first time she said it. She has used ardhamainda before (Lion in RR mansion with the gun).

I agree totally. Getting to play such a character with so many shades are very rare in ITV. Only 2 of such character I can remember who had such layers and complexity. They are Dev Dixit from KRPKAB and Manik Malhotra from KYY. And now Raghav Rao is one. It's a great opportunity. And Sai nails the character. He is a treat to watch.

I hope writers will not loose the aura of Raghav Rao. A very child like behaviour to make scenes fuuny -I don't like it either. Similar way, the romance between Raghvi should be also subtle and intriguing considering their prsonality. Writers are you listening?
