Anupamaa Written Update 16 Jun 2021

Episode begins with Anupama performing morning Tulasi Pooja , neighbouring gossiping ladies taunt her about living with ex husband in the same house after divorce . They accuse her of setting wrong examples to other men n women. Baa and aanupama give it back to the ladies with scathing appropriate retorts sending them running for cover .

At morning tea time the family is enjoying beverages made by Anupama. VanYa arrive , Babuji gets embarrassed at a Kavya’s short revealing nightdress , Baa scolds Vanraj for not warning his wife to be properly attired . Anupama asks Kavya to keep in mind the joint family system in their house and to respect elders and remain properly clothed .
kavya protests that she had freedom to dress as she wished . Anupama says just like it would be awkward if she went to office on sports wear similarly it’s awkward of she wore revealing clothes in presence of baa Babuji .

VanYa have an argument over this . He says when Anupama arrived as Bahu she observed Baa and dressed up accordingly as per her observations , similarly when Kinjal married into the family she observed Anupama and baa and dressed accordingly.. why could Kavya not do the same ,, why did he need to drill it into her .

It’s time to leave for office , VanYa arrive all dressed up and ready to leave , Kavya mutters they had got late . They are taken aback to find all the other members had already eaten . Kavya asks where was their breakfast ?? Baa says they had already eaten , Vanraj’s mouth waters as he is informed they had Aloo parathe, gobi parathey , achar , Chatni and Dahi. VanYa are furious to learn it was all finished . Baa taunts Kavya to inform them well in advance if she wanted her Vee to eat the ghaas phoos healthy food or share the unhealthy food with them . Vanraj glares at Anupama asks Kavya to fix them both some sandwiches , Kavya fumes as they eat sandwiches . Anupama has a smile on her face . She takes leave as she leaves for work.
kinjal asks Kavya to hurry to office as she was needed there n no more leave was allowed .
VanYa have an argument over Vee’s unemployment and Kinjal adds fuel to the fire enraging Vanraj all the more .

Vanraj is at a job IV and he is told by the boss that at his middle age people lose interest , speed and enthusiasm .

Vanraj gives example of Anupama n says if a woman can start new job at middle age, get new offers and take her business to higher levels why not him ??
