That was soooooo beautiful 😋🌹🌹🌹👍
I just love this Secret Relationship concept ❤️❤️
It was super cute
Raavi had made Shiva's favourite; Gulab Jamun. It had been a short three year tradition for her, making them for Shiva on his birthday. But like the past years she wouldn’t give them to him directly. Instead, she’d take them over to Pandya Niwas in a container that she had snuck out the last time she was there and make sure she served them when Dhara was serving food. Dhara usually made Gulab Jamun for Shiva too, so it was easy enough to swap them around. All she had to do was make sure no one saw her walking in with them.
But this year was different, as she walked in the house, she noticed that the house was too quiet and not a peep was to be heard. Normally on any of the three brother’s birthdays Dhara would be seen bustling around preparing all sorts of delicacies that they favoured. Seeing Krish sitting on his cot, studying she hitched her bag on her shoulder carefully and asked him where everyone was.
Krish informed her that Dhara bhabhi, who was getting clothes from the roof, slipped and fell, hurting her leg. Gautam and Dev had taken to the hospital to get it checked up. Dev had called saying that she had needed a cast and was coming home.

Shiva had come home early. He’d heard about his bhabhi and wanted to make sure that she was okay. Arriving just as they pulled up in a taxi, he helped take her in and saw both Krish and Raavi rushing to help.
Settling Dhara on the swing, she went to the kitchen to make food for the family. Dinner time came and went, her dream of taking care of the family when she got married to Dev felt like a short reality. Suddenly remembering the actual reason for her visit. Not wanting to create a scene, she left them in the fridge. Raavi realised that no one had actually wished Shiva, so neither could she.

Shiva wanted something sweet. Usually his bhabhi would wish him and make his favourite for dinner, but with everything that had happened, it didn’t seem right to ask her for it. Opening up the fridge, he saw the dabba with gulab jamuns, grabbing a spoon and warming them up, he inhaled the familiar fragrance and bit into a small piece of heaven, "Happy birthday to me." not noticing the sticky note stuck to the bottom of the dabba.
Loved all the drabbles you posted❤️
This was so cute!! ❤️
The first time Krish knew all was not what it seems was when he was eleven. He had followed a fourteen year old Shiva, who had refused to take him. Hiding when Shiva suddenly stopped behind his tree, Krish quickly hid, peeping to see what Shiva had noticed. Raavi was sitting there with tears in her eyes.
Knowing their enmity, he wondered whether he should intervene because Shiva could get into trouble if he bothered her and Dhara bhabhi found out. Instead he lost his footing because Shiva sat down next to her and wiped her tears away. He then gave her his chocolate that they'd gotten from the store earlier. This was big; Shiva never ever shared his chocolates, even the one time when he'd fallen and gotten hurt and lost his, Shiva had gotten him a new one but didn't share his.
Shiva stood up and pulled Raavi along, helping dust her clothes and giving her a hug, he ran off. All Krish noticed was that Shiva's school jumper was tied around her waist.

At the age of fifteen, Krish was transported back to that day. He had managed to escape from the classroom with the thought of bunking school that day. A new Shahrukh Khan movie was out and he really wanted to watch it, in fact he’d even managed to get a ticket from a friend.
Just as he was leaving the school, he saw Shiva and Raavi whispering to each other at the side gate that was hidden away from the guard’s desk. Wanting to know what they were talking about Krish crept closer, but when he turned the corner, they had disappeared.
Two streets away from the cinema, he found them again, standing next to one of the chaat stands. Shiva had just fed a golgappa to Raavi and put the next one in his mouth, leaving Krish slack jawed. All he heard all day everyday was how annoying this maami ki behen ki beti was and now the two faced brother of his was feeding her himself.
Controlling himself, Krish quickly walked into the cinema, thinking now was not the time to confront his brother, but that time would come. One day.
***
First school and then college meant the two incidents got buried under everything else that went on in Krish’s mind, after all he had much more important things to think about, like asking third bench Rashi for her number and how he would convince Gautam to get him a bike.
Having only afternoon lectures on Fridays meant that he had to help out at the store before going to college. On that particular day, he was halfway to college, when he realised he'd left his assignment on the counter. Normally he would have left it, but it was due that day and he had, for a change, worked really hard on it.
Finding the shutter halfway down meant that Shiva was probably having lunch at the back. Bending to lift the shutter to go in, he stopped when he heard a giggle. It did not sound like Shiva. Not even when he'd accidentally drunk bhang the previous holi and had been a high pitched laughing lunatic.
He wished he could unsee what he spied under the shutter, Shiva had his arms wrapped around Raavi and he was placing kisses down her throat whilst rubbing his stubble along the column of her throat. Krish gulped, wondering if that's how Shiva was going to appease his appetite today. His assignment wasn't even that important to interrupt whatever was happening in the store, but he really really needed to speak to Shiva.
***
Krish was confused with everything going on around him, why was Raavi getting married to Dev? And why was Shiva not saying anything? Raavi was the only one who looked happy. He still hadn't spoken to Shiva and now, he wondered if it was too late and the point of them being together moot.
***
The final time it happened, it wasn't even his fault. He had gone into the storeroom to remove some of the furniture stored there to make space for Dhara bhabhi and Gaumbi. Standing behind the change screen wondering what to move out first, he heard the door shut. Looking through the woodwork and saw his brother and to be bhabhi.
He was starting to feel like a peeping Tom catching them in such intimate positions. Raavi had her legs wrapped around Shiva's waist and was hugging him tightly. His brother was trying to console her saying that their plan would work and they were only going through this marriage charade so that Dev could marry Rishita.
Hadn't they tried to get him to tell the truth? But he was too worried about the consequences of falling in love with Janardhan's daughter. Once they got married Shiva and Raavi could finally tell the family about them. With all the drama, it would be easier for them to accept.
Giving her one last lingering kiss, Shiva put her down and walked out of the storeroom. Raavi taking a deep breath peeked out before leaving as well.
Krish finally understood and had to bow down to a game well played, vowing to help them if needed.
I loved it!

"... Toh ek din bhasmh ho jayega." saying that she walked off.
Shiva closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. Things had gotten out of hand. Neither of them was wrong nor was their stance. He had told her he would never forgive maami and those were words he would keep. But he'd also made a promise to himself when he had willingly bound himself to her, that he would never be the reason for her distress. And today, that promise was broken; for that he would never forgive himself; because lovers they were not and enemies they could not be. They simply existed in an inert space where complicated relationships destroyed any possible reconciliation they had begun to move towards. The fire still raged inside him, consuming his soul in hate and guilt, turning it to ashes, but the dilemma would stay within.
And he knew, that her words would come true.
