This is because Love is not an ego-contest, dear. Yes, Purvi did tell him to ignore her, stay away from her, start afresh with Sakshi and kids and what not. But he knew from where those words were coming. If Purvi didn't love him, it might have been easy for him to break the ties. If she actually meant those words, he would hide his pain and live with her memories.

But he knew very well that how his bawari is also suffering in love...and she loves him only.

btw, I wonder where all this wisdom was when he first served the notice to her? Serving a divorce notice then retracting it isn't a child's play. Love isn't for the faint hearted either. If 2 adults claim they are in love and cannot live without each other, they must stand by it. If circumstances are not in their favor or have to live in an environment that is not condusive for their love to flourish, then they have no other choice but to let go and move on.

I dont know why we are wracking our brains on this stupidity. Story, chars, - none of it makes any sense. 😕
