Anupama can marry again but why so soon. Let her concentrate on her career for now and find some success. After sometime she can meet someone in her journey.Only then all will make sense. Errrm no. What Anupama needs is to cut free and spend some time on her own to sort out her head and what she does from here on. If she chooses a man then it should be on her or equal terms but she should do it when the time is right.

Anupamaa needs a choice on whether she wishes to remarry or not.

If not, noone should force her. If so, noone should stop her.

ya because anupama's life was a bed of roses after marriage. women like anupama exist in our society and many dont even have the courage to do what anupama did. moreover, like it or not, it is men who need a companion more than women if we are talking in an emotional sense. I am not saying women dont need a companion, sure they do but they can go ahead in their life without them as well. if that was not the case, men wouldnt be rushing to get remarried when they lose their partner due to death or divorce. its society that makes things difficult for women and pushes them to marriage most of the time as it is their expectation to get them marriage before a certain age whether the girl wants to or not. she may miss having a companion but you make it sound so easy as if after marriage society makes it so easy for women to have a career simultaneously. lol you live in a dream world if you think our society doesnt expect a woman to do her household duties along with her job. The husband is not expected to help here btw. career is not suppose to be a priority after marriage for a woman and that is a sad fact. so tone down your lectures on how women can do both. also i am not even going to comment on Indian men and their ego and insecurities when their wives are more successful then them. For men having a partner is a need but for women it is enforced on them as it is an unwritten rule for them to married at a certain age otherwise society makes it crazy for them and their family. so stop with you patriarchal and misogynistic views as it is quite sickening.
