Episode review 14-6-21

I am copy pasting my views from the other thread . Those who have read it pls ignore .

Today’s episode was a good one but a rushed one too . Highlight of today’s episode was of course the first confrontation btw Ishqaan . It was bang on and it wasn’t stereotypical bcause always seen a ML intimidating FL but today it was otherwise which was cherry on the cake . Ahaan strength of character is a facade whereas Ishqi really is

Strong . As she said since she is poor she doesn’t have much options in life as she needs to fulfill her responsibilities. I have always said that being poor and with no parents to take care of has made Ishqi mentally strong and practical whereas Ahaan had always got everything in a silver platter and he hasn’t struggled for basic needs . He had choices in life to make whereas She had to get satisfied with what life gave her . These circumstances has made him overprotective and vulnerable.He is only deprived of parents love so he craves for love and affection and attention and in return he will give protection to that person . Ishqi is giving him what he yearned all these years and tats y he is becoming vulnerable in love bcause of his fear of losing her . Ahaan’s ego is such big that it’s not letting him to confess it to her . He want her to express first but that can’t be possible given how much he tortured her . Ahaan’s taunt to Ishqi about money and all was bcause he wants to satisfy his own ego and assure himself that he is doing the right thing . His heart is now overpowering his mind now . His anger is making him take all the decisions . He can’t even see Ishqi in a slight pain and he will do anything to help ask that pain and in that process he is completely aloof of what is happening outside them . He gets carried away in emotions around her . That’s why he is fearing to commit . He fears whether his choice will be false even though he knows Ishqi is the right girl for him . But due to constant Bickering by daadi and her upbringing , he fears taking decision by heart . So he always lets other to take decisions for him bcause then he doesn’t need to worry about blame coming upon him . He is in a way running away from acknowledging his love himself due to this fear .Wedding announcement scene seemed choppy and Ahaan running for ice and all was a bit OTT . His care and concern could be understood from a mere look into his eyes . This was a bit embarrassing also . Anyway leave it since it’s a show some drama need to be put .

After such an emotional moment at the marriage announcement stage I never expected Ishqaan to have such lame monologues. That moment lacked emotions and intensity . They have passed that phase in love where you bicker about each other . These monologues were apt when they were in attraction stage but now at this moment both are emotionally invested so I expected a mature monologues than this childish one . May be I expect too much .I couldn’t connect to Ishqaan there .

Even though I loved pool scene it looked a bit forced . Since this was a continuation scene from bedroom where they were thinking about each other that thoughts reflected in their interactions also . A bit childish . But the monologues when she walked back was really good where Ahaan expresses his wish that she doesn’t go and Ishqis asking him to stop was really well done .Her falling in the pool and him rescuing was not needed anyways . It was as if makers wanted to satisfy viewers with Ishqaan . The almost kiss was good but I really wished that scene should have come in their first confrontation where emotions and intensity was high .

Anyways eagerly waiting for Ahaan realisation and confession . Even if it’s late confession should come from his side only bcause he is the one who started everything and fell in love first and on top of all these he is the one who made her life hell . So he needs to make up for a

i felt the same. i was hoping for a tormented ahaan monologue after ishqaan's confrontation. but nothing.😭

the whole announcement ceremony felt ott to me too. but that is ok saying that he was impulsive and he panicked.

but after that too no monologue, they were just trying to sleep as if it was just a tiny thing like they lost a school stationery item or something

and then at the pool also. it dint feel like 2 people meeting for the last time and longing for each other. it was just like some teenage fight

Ya, for me too tat pool moment was never like they are meeting for last time before him marrying Rhea . The angst and turmoil was missing which was there in first confrontation. I liked the moment for their almost kiss . And they didn’t talk properly there only did some silly bickering .

Apart from the OTT moments, there was a lot of symbolism in direction / writing today, which is why I kind of overlooked those moments.

Ahaan in his anger / frustration cheers her glass with such force that it breaks and hurts her in the process. This is a reminder of what he did after she called off her marriage. And then again the running to help her knowing how badly he hurt her is his post-leap stance.

The shattered glass like breaking of heart in pieces. The song Ishq Wala Love... Sonu rushing to Ishqi's side to help collect the pieces of broken glass and Raj following as well. I actually want a moment to appreciate Raj - this is the type of husband everyone should strive for. The guy was holding the tray and collecting the shards alongside his wife for a person who he is forever indebted to. Anyway, the duo (and Kartik) helping Ishqi back up on her feet was just so heartwarming.

For me the highlight was the first part of the show where you have them intensely arguing and the monologues at end by pool side when she walked back where Ahaan expresses his wish that she doesn’t go and Ishqi asking him to stop. I have to hand it to Ishqi for stating the harsh truth and reality of her life.

This past few days is basically Ahaan doing everything he taunted others for being "filmy, marriage fantasy, against family values" etc etc because right now he is at the point where: Ishq Par Zor Nahi.

I loved the episode today...all emotions of Ahaan were on bare display..

Jinko dikhta hai...wo samajh sakte hai what all Ahaan was feeling

He was on roller coaster of emotion today

Guit--pyaar-frustration-gussa-failure-desire....aur fir sab desire par paani ferne ke liye chappal wala dialogue

Somehow I felt bad for Ahaan today.

But I am happy for Ishqii aaj Ahaan ko roast karke tan-doori bana hi li

Raj was quite cool today. Sonu helping Ishqii was a welcoming change.

Kartik to bichara thaka thaka lag raha tha....Ahaan ko samjha ke shayad🤣

Waiting for dadi ka heart-attack jab Ahaan shaadi karke Ishqii ko le ayega...😆

all said and done i loved the episode but i wanted more

like wat was there should be there but a few more things too 😆

oh and as for falling in the pool ... lol, i dont mind - i have been guilty of it when i am completely warped in my thoughts and not looking where i am walking... aisa hota hai 🤪🤣

Its kind of ok episode not that much interesting 🤔same old same old ..watched online as over here at nite it will broadcast..tired of seeing each lalla's running mode whenever he triedto save ishki ...that time camera shows slow motion feel like sadiyon se daur ke aaraha hai bohot hi durr se ishko ko bachane..when ishkis outfit torn coat savior scene ya ice Lana scene ya danda scene ya saving her from pool scene always bhaag lalla bhaag mode is Hilarious😂 last bhagna airport mai ..

And funny thing ahu lalla didn't even surprise to hear when ishki said thank u and ur Fiancee for offer the job..so far I remember rhea made up this couple thing .oh well what the heck his reactionwas very normal no surprised at all ..🙄its itv..they forgot what they showed previously..🙄

Feel good when ishki call him sir word ..he needs to get more from ishki ..😠
