Although the milking the sympathy evoking for a character that does nothing but suffocate for while there irritated me a bit, overall I found it an alright episode. Toh yeh divorce ab imlie maata ke kripa se hoga kya jab unki aagya hogi ... do they care one bit about letting her make sense when putting in these nonsensical dialogues, I have been the biggest imlie advocate here and giving in almost all her actions to her fears and insecurity but how do I go on like that when clearly the creatives don’t seem to want that to be the focus? Imlie’s M bhakti over her concern for her other relationships at times and the unencessity of it has started getting on my nerves. I have little hopes of them exploring imlie’s thought processes at this point. The family already knows about the divorce, cut ties with Cs too, dislike Malini now toh divorce rok ke kya haasil hoga, not like Malini can be of any help to Ts right now (or ever was 😆). This time I think it’s deflecting and running away on her end instead of facing the reality, because certainly having the Cs around isn’t gonna contribute to support of the Ts in these mushkil halaats but contribute more to their stress. But obviously conveniently make her dumb as some plot device whenever you want, throwback to ‘humka dhoka diye’.

As for the ultimatum, yeah my mistake for thinking imlie’s inner turmoils might be given a focus now, I sometimes watch the show as if she’s supposed to be the one carrying it or her struggles and turmoils be the central focus at least since it has her name and all, totally my fault 🥱

Yep, it was a decent epi overall despite 10 whole minutes devoted to an elaborate bechaargi session by Didi the great😆.

Both the Adi-Imlie scenes were not that long but still pretty effective.....as you said, Imlie still recalling lines like her knowing Adi better than everyone else, keeps the hope alive of the vibe being maintained😆

Imlie is deffo doing her usual escapist stuff with wanting to delay the AM divorce when it serves no purpose.....but chalo let's see if we still manage to get decent Adi-Imlie scenes....lol the AM divorce is a formality for a relationship that is beyond dead but if the writers want to keep dragging it out, what can we do.

Ok just caught up on the episode 😊. Both Adi Imlie conversation were good and I thought it was a decent episode. I hope the divorcé conversation at the end get a continuity tomorrow from Adis side- hoping against all odds that he explains to Imilie prolonging the divorce is not going to achieve anything - but of course I will get chopped because he is in guilt mode now 😆

LOL arey don't give up hope completely also😆....dekhte hain if Adi manages to be a wildcard tomorrow and tells Imlie ki divorce can still keep on moving while he nibhaaos bhai ke farz😆.

Waise toh I can't tell from the precap if Adi-Imlie have gone to talk about delaying the divorce, ki KC se milne gaye about the SK case😆.....and wahaan Didi bumps into them all as usual and then KC starts his nautanki like she came to meet him only 😆

Does Imlie really look convinced to you by that OTT PDA?😆.....usko toh daal humesha kaali hi lagegi....lol ab divorce delay karva ke pata nahin shaayad phir se shuru ho jaaye in trying to prove the KC-MC rishta jhoota😆

Pretty much agreed with everyone. The Ts showing their dismay was better than didi dikava scene.

Regarding Imlie being preoccupied for maintaining relationship with didi post divorce & stalling the divorce proceeding date, the conflict of establishing a buildup before the scene or ending the scene on a proper note just didn't make sense. The portrayal was nice though in terms of retaining their vibe during their scenes but perhaps the buildup or delaying the divorce proceeding date was .

First scene was okay except for when Imlie was preoccupied with thoughts on maintaining relationships with Didi post divorce. Agreed with that. Divorce hua nhi and she's just worried about retaining relationship with didi.

Second scene was better with regards to Imlie consoling Adi as to not feeling dejected in terms of failing to maintain relationships as he was preoccupied with his own problems that he thought he failed as a brother.

The delaying of the divorce proceeding by Imlie was just like, .

Precap: KC's attempt of gaslighting the fake relationship was cringefest.

I don’t see any point of dragging it out as it contributes nothing to the story at this point but well the non cliche masterminds know better.

As for imlie’s escapism.. yes it comes from her fears and insecurities, shown to us once or twice probably will not be followed up on in the ways we want and will give shape to her character and the story thus, after all the gaarhna, divorce, romance it comes off as.. well sort of cowardice? in this area. I do not have any hopes there will be any focus given to her, she will accept this but the same way she became coy in that romance, no lead up to it no exploration of her thought, the fear I think will be kept intact for future didi ghusaoing in the relationship after marriage too and making her seem unworthy of Ts or creating problems with them or whatever. Or maybe even here I am giving them too much, they just go as whatever comes to them without much thought for her characterisation.

Yes, Imlie's insecurities and fears are going to be shown like this only as far as I can tell....expecting much cohesion on this front is probably a lot to ask for......she is fixated on random things and all the issues in the world rather than addressing the marriage she is in.

We are never really shown where she comes up with these conclusions and extrapolations.....lol like today, her sudden fixation that the divorce will mean she can't see Malini again😕.....who told her that? She just thought it up all in her head.....lol she's just terrified of losing people it seems.....while at the same time, she seems quite chill about walking away from people too as she's shown by leaving Adi and the Ts many times😆.....lol she's a paradox on that point also - she acts like she's craving these relationships but then she herself runs away from them too.

All we will likely get is Adi calling out the fact that she makes excuses to not accept their relationship or that she doesn't have faith in him......it gets called out but never really resolved.....lol and we move on to the next Didi bechaargi scene.....that's how it keeps rolling😆

Jokes apart it was adorable as adi had no faraks to give for didi ka emotional atthyachaar and faltu ka nautanki over her fake appeals and requests he was like whatever 😆 I was glad imlie smiled even in between her other distraction and for once didn't pakaoo him .. extra adorable it was with adi ka mind being stuck only at kaam adhura reh gaya cake nahi khila paaya and happy bday was so sweet... baaki yes inke liye apt hain humein milna hi tha janam kisi raah bhi nikalte.. didi can do nothing .. nothing she does will ever impact what destiny has written for them she can do her slo mo bakwaaas kitna bhi they will find their ways to each other☺️

Imlie apne khayali pulaav main didi ka koi alternate version dekh ke krantikaari speech de rahi thi...I was rather amused by family walon ka whatever too at her and giving her ho gaya tumhara looks🤣🤣 kabhi kabhi T's can be so unintentionally savage .. though I had to laugh at aparna ka reason is mera adi dukhi hai 🤣 again since when are you bothered about him when have you cared enough for him but chalo aaj maaf kia mummy T ko for snubbing the bahu..
