In ishqi's case, only his emotions drive him that's why he was always irritated by her even when she did nothing. Sanskaar bas bahaana tha asli chakkar toh hormones ka tha 😆
Basically he couldn't accept that he has always been intensely attracted to ishqi so he made up these sanskar issues so that it can stop him. But sadly bechare ke woh bhi kaam na aaya. He's a total goner now and he has accepted it.

Ahaan was attracted to her from the start. He noticed and remembered everything about her. He even counted how many times they met while talking to Sonu-kartik. He made anti-ishqi list only because he was drawn toward her.
Now even when he was showing anger/hatred, everyone around him could sense there is much deeper connection with ishqi. His behavior in his engagemnt was give away how he can’t control his emotions. Everybody around him notice it as these are very strong emotions.
