I honestly thought it was KD waiting for his turn to put his hand there and wasn’t sure if someone else wanted to go first😆 maybe someone was yelling cues or they had no specific order so it was confusing 😆

I did notice during the hug, Raavi’s head was in Dev’s arms 😆 Dhara caressed Gaumbi’s cheek while Dev held both Rishita & Raavi. Why on earth was Shiva on the other side 🤣

I actually thought that that part was very realistic, Raavi’s hand was on top and Shiva hesitated for a second before placing his hand. Just like how he hesitated at the temple when they were doing the puja. Considering their past I think that’s justified xD

Where he tries to help but lets go when she is hurt! They could have addressed both the physical and emotional trauma. So many emotions! And the bedroom moment Ahh love this!!

I don't know why, but I still have some tiny miny hope for a bedroom scene tomorrow

I just don't hope it is thrashed as it will leave no meaning of the huge transition and progression Shivi have made this week!

For the first time, they catch a glimpse of each other without awkwardness of Pati-Patni! From Raavi dissing Shiva on their wedding night about how they cannot be together to a passive existence of a relationship both didn’t imagine themselves to be in. -They have come a long way.
Suman has been great with her advices till date for Shiva and Raavi! Most of the critical changes in their relationship are so beautifully guided by Suman, contrary to the whining, chiding and forcing of Dhara. Suman carries her years well, and I guess she has a massive weakness for Shiva. He being her spitting image in temperament. Honestly, despite her hideous patriarchal approach, Suman sounds so much saner to me than Dhara.

1. Marriage Ashirwaad: Suman asks Shiva to keep Raavi like a delicate doll. Keep her happy. She thanks Shiva for keeping up to his father's pride. To Raavi, she is speechless, just says, I wish nothing but happiness. No guided forcing about Shiva and her new life blah blah

2. Mandir Darshan-Instead of reprimanding Raavi for staying behind, she asks her to keep up her pace the next time.

3. Kidnapping MU-She rants but not even once scolds Raavi directly for badmouthing Shiva. She explains the Love of Family and The respect They shall Always give her. The choice of leaving was given to her.

4. Chain scene-She gives a life lesson about how the husband-wife fall and hold each other.

5. Post-Khandahar Kand Ashiwad-Both of you become husband and wife.

6. Dining Table-Kam-jyada food example to nurture Husband wife relationship.

Now, if you compare all this with Dhara and her whining, crying and drama, it was all about forcing

Main Tujhe Lise Nahi Dekh Sakti... And Tu kapde Kyun Nahi Dhoti... Etc.

That's why my hatred for Dhara. She has a saviour complex, and she thinks whatever she is doing is for her welfare. I wish Dhara's actions were not justified.

Compare this to this: Suman still seems MIGHTY pissed.

Great post as usual! Sorry if my thoughts are all over the place as I woke up feeling snarky this morning 😂, but true! Suman proves how she is more experienced and wise compared to Dhara when giving advice. While Dhara forced ShiVi to put aside their differences (won't even address how she threatened both of them with violence as that is a separate issue) and accept each other, while Suman was clearly looking out for both Shiva and Raavi's happiness. I liked how ShiVi's relationship came secondary to their own personal happiness as that is how a relationship should work out to be healthier.

I think Suman's soft corner for Shiva stems from how similar he is to her and her husband. Perhaps she knows just how nice Shiva could be once he opens his heart, so she wants to protect him at all costs. As for Raavi, I'm assuming Suman has always loved Raavi despite not being related to her by blood. I know I harp about childhood scenes all the time, but I think it would be the perfect place to show the audience how Suman recognized Raavi's kindness. Perhaps she would make sweets and bring it over to the Pandya family. Perhaps she found out about how Raavi fought for Shiva to get chole and her heart melted seeing Raavi's kindness.

Also, based on your screen caps, I noticed how during the blessing, ShiVi (Imma ignore how perfect Alice's curls are) looked at each other with the fact of taking the blessing as an after thought, while Dhara seemed more than happy to be taking Suman's blessing while completely ignoring Gaumbi...

This show is very typical when it comes to bahu's and their role. The women are and can be strong, but let's face it they get reduced and praised for washing clothes and making food by their own family, and they nod along.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the dining room scene. It's the ShiVi fan in me I reckon. That eye contact at the end was so subtle - they said nothing but understood alot in that moment. I want the awkwardness between them before they eventually talk about what happened, I want self reflection before they do too. It might be coming and I'm a complete FOOL to believe it is 😕.

I also enjoyed the dinning room scene!

@bold you’re not alone I get disappointed ever time but I hope this time this will happen! The story would be so much better. * sending a signal to the universe*

Welcome abroad the new and improved Pandya Store 🚂 . Where the kesar has left Dhara and entered Anita! Where Dev is now the one to romance and Rishita is the only to say “Bas Dev, our family is here!” Where Rishita lends clothes to Raavi and her poor husband is confused, leading to Dev and Raavi touches! Where Raavi decides to dress fashionably to seduce her husband and it fails because Shiva trembles whenever he sees her. Where Kaka is stuck as a forever laborer of Pandya Store as the Pandya family continue their vacation snooze fest.

Lol, go for it! I'm glad you liked the snark. But please include this line for Maami as I cleared forgot about her:

Where Maami becomes the Pandya family's naukar since video filming and land stealing have failed 🤣

Nah man, this is all you ❤️! You provide the scene, I think about the scene with what you've given me and then I wrote down what I thought about. We should just tag team and send our script to the Pandya Store creators 🤣

Hello hello,

I've just watched the episode and am probably one of the few who liked it. Yes there was too much melodrama but overall the episode was a lot more digestible compared to some of the previous ones (my hum saath saath hai vibes were in full force).

Some of the finer points i liked:

- Rishita agreeing it was partly her fault but keeping true to herself and mentioning Shiva and Krish.

-Suman telling Dhara she won't let her make the same mistake her mother did (I think this was probably the first time in 10 years that Suman has genuinely wanted to differentiate between Dhara and her mother even though she'd accepted her as a bahu)

-The hand scenes, shiva hesitating in putting his hand on Raavi’s in the family hug and on her shoulder during the pooja were so apt. They've shared the most meaningful conversation probably of their whole entire life together(till date) whilst on the brink of death, which they probably would never do otherwise. How do you then treat that person? This scene was just all ❤️❤️❤️.

-Dhara staying mum during the dinner/breakfast scene when Shivi were arguing. (She's actually taking a step back from their married life and letting them resolve their problems... Maybe instead of all the violence this was what was needed?)

- Suman's decision on Shiva's consumption was spot on. It forces them to communicate without the arguments which they did so so cutely (ankhon hi ankhon mein ishara ho gaya).

- For the first time I could see why Dev and Rishita love each other. She's definitely smarter than she looks, she's understanding the lesson being taught despite not really approving the methods (hoping she doesn't go backwards too much since she had a quick character turnaround) and Dev definitely knows how to charm his way back into her good books when he puts in the effort.

- Dhara playing back Suman's words was very poignant. We're 🤞hopefully 🤞 going to see a more subdued Dhara, but a stronger one who doesn't cry about every small thing. It was also really needed to see that those words did affect her and I'm hoping that they touch upon this later, especially when she does fall pregnant. (Maybe this SR will do what pre-leap SR didn't).

One dialogue I wish they had was, when Dev said mere parivaar mein, when they went to get the kheer, she'd corrected him and said hamara parivaar (i know too soon for that, but she was shouting mera parivaar a couple of episodes ago)

Star of the show is a tie between Krish's thoughtful look when Dev leaves and Gautam tells him to mind his own business and Suman finally accepting Rishita as a bahu, which is going to keep her on Pandya side.
