There has never been an ITV show where the FL has not tried to sacrifice her love unilaterally (without involving ML in the decision) at the behest of or for the sake of a family elder who is against their love.

Pucca Ishqi will sacrifice her claims on Ahu based on Dadi’s warning (veiled as request), thinking that Ahu anyway values his Dadi & family over all else plus he is engaged to a nice girl.

As much as I LOOOVEE Karthik's character and Ahaan-Karthik scenes, it feels funny to me that he as the younger brother always has such profound advice for Ahaan. Yes, until this point it was totally relevant and made sense but in yesterday's episode, Ahaan's denial and Karthik calling him out seemed a little too much😆 Aise toh Karthik will have to self-promote himself as the couple counselor for Ishqaan post-marriage:

Ahaan: What the fudge Karthik, Ishqi is just my legally-wedded wife aisa kuch nahin hain hum dono ke beech!
