I still feel that the part later is not a dream, coz he has teased her before and he likes to rile her up sometimes. Also, I think he just mentioned motion sickness and not "emotion sickness" the way Imlie means it. For me this teasing reminded me of the PD ki aafat part, where he deliberately misunderstood her feelings due to them being close to each other. I know it was OTT and not like they normally are, but it feels like he is slowly opening up to her as a partner and he being alone he just felt relaxed enough to tease her the way he did. It was still aww for me along with the first "Mrs Thripathi", which I think spurred this Adi to put his Mrs on the spot like that.

I would love to see them close that loop finally with Imlie feeling the same pangs that BS did, and somewhere because of her own decisions rather than external circumstances. I know her moving away would be difficult, but being in the same house and not able to connect with BS in anyway will be more of a sazaa to her than anything else. Right now, he is her anchor in this storm and she has taken him for granted for so long, that losing him would be like losing that support with which she has been riding this situation out. So dekhna ab yeh hai that is she willing to take that leap with BS or her didi prem will take the one support that she was counting on, no matter what she decision she took.

That is why his ultimatum makes sense now, as finally she will have to face the choice that she was talofying for so long - accept her new life with Adi or leave him to chart a life without him, the way she said with the rishta khatam wali baat.

Dont have a clip for this but imlie does talk to sita mayya about babusahib also having emotion sickness and he does hear it. Just before the chase scene. She is turned away from him and not aware that he is in the room

Then came what actually felt a quintessential/organic Adi-Imlie bit......she turns away to leave and he asks her if she won't even say bye before leaving?😆....Imlie turns back to say a pretty sombre, "Bye bye, Babusahib"😆.....Adi responds with a "Bye"....then waits a beat and adds a "Mrs. Tripathi"😆....the way Imlie turns to him with a smile on hearing that and he responds with a subtle smile of his own before saying "Jaao"😆.....so sweetly done.

It was a very rare moment where Imlie allowed herself to briefly savor her truth....that she is his wife....hearing him call her "Mrs. Tripathi" made it real for her for a minute and she allowed herself to bask in it briefly while entering the house too....until she saw the Tripathis all happy at the dining table and she again reverted to her guilt about the truth taking away their happiness. Then they piled on with the usual questions about Malini so Imlie retreated into a shell again.

The second set of Adi-Imlie scenes were shown as if the first set never happened😆.....no idea why Imlie suddenly is shown hyper over bad things happening to Adi.....lol what bad thing happened to him in this day? Ki woh Didi and KC se mila? 😆......and then the entire OTT dhuaan sequence.....Imlie walking around like she's going to smoke the whole place and then being like main toh sirf Babusahib ki nazar utaarungi.....lol Adi initially being all like yeh kya hai but then Imlie shushing him and doing some kind of parikramaa around him with the dhuaan thing😆.....all timed to slow motion wala Piya tose milne😆.....chalo atleast gaana toh dhang ka tha.

Iske baad wala section I didn't really get....when did Adi find out about Imlie's emotion sickness and start pointing out those symptoms so obviously? 😆.....Is this Imlie's dream? There were some dialogues from Adi about how everyone's left toh ab Imlie ko darr lag raha hai?😆.....I'm still in two minds about whether this is real.....it has shades of the Adi who was teasing her in the PD ki aafat scene but him knowing about emotion sickness is strange....then again, the flow of the writing is so off these days, they may not care about keeping that bit consistent.....lol

But either way, this scene seems to be put in to depict an Imlie who does seem to still think about Adi (despite her endless Didi jaap otherwise😆)....an Imlie who is still attracted to him, feels butterflies in her stomach etc. but is nervous about accepting and moving forward in that relationship.....so maybe that is why they are showing an Adi either teasing her or she's imagining him teasing her. Cuz the beginning of the epi showed an Adi wanting to ease her into getting comfortable with being Mrs. Tripathi😆

Then there's the precap which has Adi wanting to tell the truth to the whole family after they find out about the divorce, so I'm not sure if that will come after an argument with Imlie or Imlie will interrupt him when he's trying to tell the family again and that is why he'll be upset with her again.

Finally makers ne aapke post banane ke liye kuch toh dhang ka material diya - 2 mins ka hi sahi. Really love and always look forward to your posts and am glad that today we got something that somewhat resembled the connect we have seen in the past. Like you said, the Mrs Thripathi bit was so nicely done, especially since we finally got ek chota sa glimpse to what Imlie actually thinks about being "Mrs Thripathi" beyond her wallowing guilt because of didi & T family. She really likes it and was basking in her happiness before the "happy T family lunch table dhrishya" kind of jolted her out of her reverie. I actually feel more than didi's guilt, it was the T family abandoning her almost that has really reset the girl's psyche to be more cautious towards exposing the truth. When both Aparna and Radha constantly felt that she was the reason for Malini's suicide and the way they almost pushed her away to go to the C house and not come back, something broke inside her that the people she was protecting betrayed her. That abandonment itni aasaani se theek nahi hoga, so hope the ultimatum pushes her to discuss this with Adi to help her overcome her fear.

As for the "emotion sickness" piece, I still think he was teasing her the way he did during the PD ki aafat wala scene and he just wants her to get comfortable with him. Kahin na kahin seeing KC with Malini has freed Adi somewhat. He genuinely feels like closing that chapter and moving on with Imlie as a wife and partner and that's why he is teasing her. He knows that Imlie is young and may take time to understand the physical aspects of the marriage, so he knows the only way to get to her is to rile her up by teasing her like this. I know many people did not connect with this scene, but it made me feel really nice. He wants her to become comfortable around him and is using this as a way to make her understand that this is normal.

I really hope that the next few episodes continue to show us the progression in Adilie relationship along with the effect on the T family. while the precap looks promising, the makers have a bad habit of getting our hopes up and giving us a phuski bomb in return. But even if Adi says that he and Malini were incompatible, which is why he is taking the divorce, I will take it as a bigger win than him telling the truth about the 1st shaadi. Lets see if the makers give you enough meat to create a post tomorrow for discussion as well.

uhhh She has already done that Previously too For reference ... It is not like imlie never feels it idk where this always ends up coming and her side gets unseen . She cannot live without him simple yes she tries to act all strong but it is beyond her too she gets equally Torn.. yet she makes that difficult choice to make sure she isn't hurting anyone in the process but herself .

Yes she has felt those pangs before, but like you said, ek ghar mein rehte hue to not be able to lean on that support is much worse. In the PD separation she had no expectation to meet him or see him again when she decided to go back to Delhi. She was prepared then to continue her life without him and deal with the loneliness that comes from that. But here if the situation is such that Adi ignores her and makes her reflect on taking a decision on their relationship as a couple, that will be harder because she will have to face the storm alone without Adi by her side, rather almost angry with her. That makes facing the situation against the one person who was your pillar all along this bumpy ride.

Wahaan pe she removed her frustration on her mother and Prakash that she cant eat, study or even function since he left, now what can she say. If she calls her mother (which I hope she does, has been long since we had a nice convo between Amma and Imlie) maybe then she would get that clarity she is looking for.

I wish we will get this kind of teasing scene so that imlie will more comfortable with adi.
