For me the issue happens when he stands mute to everything done by chakrams and his best friend to sai. And on any reaction from sai, he does "hai bechari"

Even the promo has him all angry with mujhe sai samaj Nahi aati. How will u samaj her when all your samaj is used to be mute in from of the whole world.

Wanted to share a different POV. I just re-watched episode. I somehow was not disappointed with him on my second watch, and not coz I knew what he did.

Virat was uncomfortable with what Sai said coz it was the truth and he knew where it was leading, thats why he asked her to stop. So he decided to defuse it by lying and throwing Sai under the bus forgetting that its Sai whom he is dealing with.

He turns away from her, coz he can't face her. He knows clearly she asked him question last night and he ran away without answering. He knows what she is talking about.

He kept quiet at both Sonali's comments of why farak padtha hain as well as Pakhi's nurse comment.

1. coz he wanted to know why it matters to Sai whom he talks to (he doesn't realize she is jealous), but this ques remain unanswered coz Karishma asked Sunny to clarify

2. Pakhi's nurse comment, coz he was curious if Sai feels more than taking care of him. (He didn't care about fees etc) he just want to see what Sai is feeling or trying to process what she is saying. He is surprised to hear pyaar and parvaah from Sai's mouth and is happy.

He was about to reply to Omi, but Sai replied before him. Yes he is slower than a snail.

Only when Sai mentioned Pakhi telling family about him sleeping outside was when he realized Pakhi created all this Tamasha and that she misunderstood him again.

At this point I am not sure if he cares about Pakhi's image. He never stopped Sai from saying stuff to Pakhi after the first rebuke.

He asked his parents to be quiet and let Sai tell it all despite knowing she listened to him and Pakhi yesterday and whatever she says might also spoil his image.

But somehow he was confident of resolving it or squirming out of it.

He kind of actually threw Pakhi under the bus, coz now Pakhi has no cover.

Even if Virat accepts to one of the allegations that Sai is going to throw, all the fake image Pakhi has created will crumble.

Sai did say I will tell what I know, she should have said you can add the rest Pakhi didi.

Wonder if Pakhi is going to scream like a banshee tomorrow as she didnt get too many dialogues today.

Thats aada adura sach, per him, Pakhi will get the spot of a friend in his heart, which no one else can replace. But both Pakhi and Sai assume he meant it as lover.

Sai knows Virat wants her, but she thinks he eventually wants to fulfil Pakhi's vaada so he will never love or confess his love for her.

@Sukri Word on everything you mentioned. After watching the episode 3rd time I too found Virat was trying to figure out what was going on inside Sai's brain and why his past his effecting her so much. Even him asking Sai to watch out before speaking, felt it was more for concern for Sai and not out of concern for P since he knows the chavan junglees will pounce on Sai. He gave angry looks to all Chavans when they were spewing venom against Sai.

All he wanted was to diffuse the situation and looked shocked when Sai sat down instead of leaving for college. But hats off to Sai for shredding P to pieces and left her no choice but to cry. Only wish V had cleared about the past and said it is no longer valid. This would have been 1 stone 2 birds - Sai would have gotten a clarification and P's mask would have come off and she could no longer harass V.

I honestly have no clue. They are just stringing us along. I mean yesterday (i e just a couple hours ago in ‘serial time’) Sai and Virat share a caring moment where she applies a salt pack on him and then he comes down and treats her horribly- like she is the worst thing ever. And silently watches as Pakhi and the older gangstas tear her apart.

The original Bengali serial track veered off looking like CVS wrote it while smoking something very strong😭 though the original story started off strong in a good way. There was a chance to improve it while rehashing it for this version but they are not using it.

I guess there is a love story buried in all this sh.. but right now am not feeling it 😑 I love Sai’s character and like Virat occasionally too. But so many missed opportunities to really build a good story.

Why are makers hell bent on butchering Virat's character?? Do they want us to not like Sairat??

They could have shown Virat reacting and telling his family off atleast in a few Instances.

The nurse comment, nobody wants to live with her, Pakhi removing Sai's hands from Virat. Virat should have shown much stronger reaction in these situations.

I don't understand the thought process of makers, if they wanted to show Sai in full form and asking the difficult question to Virat Pakhi, it could have happened even if Virat takes Sai side in few things.

I just don't understand the need to show him this spineless and not at all supporting Sai when he is so in love with her.
