I think pre leap she did have strong feelings for him. We can conclude that from her drunk confessions. But then the Sonu incident happened and Ishqi got occupied with that. If not for Sonu trying to commit suicide it would have been a different story. Ishqi would have gotten more time to ponder upon her feelings which she couldn't due to Sonu.

But post leap I can't imagine her choosing Ahaan over her job. He has messed up way too much for that. It will not be easy for Ishqi to forgive him. What he did will be enough to destroy any kind of feelings she might have had for him pre leap

Yes yes obviously POV can be different and I completely respect yours 😳 I was just stating what's in my mind about them 😆 You know whenever Ishqi calls Sonu "Bitiyaan" I can see Ahaan in Ishqi and that's something beyond mere feelings... When you connect with other relationships associated with your love interest or partner in the same way as your love interest or partner that's a completely different case altogether. A matter of deep rooted feelings. Both Ahaan and Ishqi 'Loves' differently but the 'Depth' is same. ❤️

it's just ahaan going out of his way to see/meet/talk to ishqi and thinking about her all the time making me think he has stronger and deeper feelings for her. especially when he thinks that they can't be together and he should marry rhea as she'll be a perfect bahu for his family. his whole world basically revolves around ishqi which wasn't the case w ishqi in both pre and post leap.

also, yes, even i can't imagine ishqi giving preference to ahaan over her job after all that he has done to her.

I think before leap both Ishqi and Ahaan were on the same page. Just that Ahaan had a lot of time to think over his feelings plus he had a sorted Karthik who always pointed out his behaviour towards Ishqi and pushed him to introspect even more. Even his relationship with Rhea seems very superficial with him having no attachment to her or a sense of commitment. We never saw him thinking to himself that all he feels for Ishqi is wrong as he is committed to Rhea. He only used to feel bad that Ishqi is going to marry his bestie.

Ishqi on the other hand had too many issues on her hand. Like her masa troubling masi, then her own impending marriage with Mayank which made it difficult for her to have feelings for Ahaan plus Sonu's issue was very grave which gave her literally no time to think about herself. If you see before She went to terrace, she was very curious about what happened when she was drunk. And when she heard Ahaan Karthik convo she was shocked, thats when she started to have her doubts about her marriage.

I think his going out of the way for her what drew her to him. He always helped her when he didn't need to. It wasn't even his place to help, neither did she ask for it but still he stood by her. She always wanted a guy who would understand her unsaid things and Ahaan was that person for her. Be it the engagement fiasco, her masi and house issue etc. Not that she cannot help herself but for a girl who has always fended for herself, someone standing by her must be a very good feeling. The way he encouraged her during sangeet ceremony when everyone put her down, the way he looked out for her during mehendi, its all something a girl would like in her partner. It was just a matter of time for her. Otherwise I do believe she would have broken her marriage for Ahaan as love is something very important for her

But what Ahaan did after she broke off her wedding, I guess it just destroyed every good thing she felt for him and replaced it with plain fear which would take a long time to go away.
