MR said that the last time he saw a dream for himself was day before KR was born. That means that after Sita bai was born, he cared for her..but was not the doting father..was not completely into his child.

But after KR...he only became KRs father..didn't have any dreams, aspiration for Sita bai

Why this difference MR? just because Sita is a girl...why didn't u see any dream for Sita after KR was born?

Like he isn't been so much of an influence in KR's life either, except occasionally scolding him. Sitabai ka nahi pata, maybe because she is to be married off to another kingdom, political marriage alliance sorta.. so he doesn't really bother.

one problem is not much is known on his daughter tbh...we don't even know whether gunoji & his father-in-law were against khanderao in terms of usurping the throne/nizam plotting & being a ghar jamai

Yup very little is known about Malharrao's daughters Sitabai and Udabai. Whether he had dreams for them or not is a difficult question to answer. Maybe they were not bright enough.

Another thing, changes in society didn't come all at once, it came slowly and gradually. Most probably Malharrao started training Ahilya, because he saw her capabilities. But he didn't see them in his daughters, so didn't have enough dreams for them.

when I say dream for sitabai, I don't mean to compare her with Ahilya. I mean why he is not shown attached to her in the show. Why MR didn't say that he only sees dream (for success in whatever way) for his both children. yeah he was talking with GB, but still both his children should be same for him. I wish there were scenes of Sita bai and MR.

But its fault of makers, if they had shown MR caring towards his daughter, his fondness for ahilya will make more sense.

yes, not much info is there on other characters. I searched for dwarka, bana and harku...wanted to know how they were in real life. But no info 😞.

Bold- that's so bad. Thats why I am so confused, MR is shown to be caring towards Ahilya- is it because she is his DIL or is it because she is smart and honest person.

that shouldn't be a reason for not dreaming for her/ not having aspiration for her.

By that logic KR is also not bright like Ahilya.

Both. She is talented and will be an asset to his kingdom. And therefore he is interested in developing her innate abilities. Even when she was ruling he was her chief advisor.
