see sonu is not a hypocrite. she is just a scared person when it comes to her losing her brother's trust. she knows very well that she is not perfect and she doesnt want to be either.

she knows her brother well and she knows he doesnt approve of her ways of living so she hides it from him because how long can u live under someone's control?

she and kartik disapprove of the sanskars right from the first episode. but still, she cannot see ahaan hurt because he is the only blood family she has.

let me clear this that i am not taking sonu's side. i am just stating y she behaves this way. just the way we discussed y ahaan behaves a certain way.

now about her trust in raj and kartik. see kartik will not keep anything from ahaan. he just never does that..thats y she hasnt told him about her n mayank's affair. kartik would be like sonu ne kuch galat nahi kiya toh kyu darna hai n he wid go blabber it to ahaan.

and as for raj, we dont know yet if she has or hasnt told him. but going by the pre engagement fiasco its possible that she is afraid he will just go mauank hunting, so mshe may be scared of that.

she needs to learn to standup for herself and ishqi. and that will happen soon i hope, that's the life lesson she has to learn.

when ahaan realises how wrong he was, sonu will get some courage to speak up

That's not the point, she can still offer Ishqi help and support without revealing her secret but she was absorbed in thinking about herself.
